Clearspring Organic Japanese Double Strength Yaemon Tamari Review
I normally buy Kikoman Tamari 1 Liter for about £9. Saw this for £14 and thought Id try the really deep flavourful stuff. To my suprise it tastes very similar. The Kikoman is thinner, saltier, and has a slightly tangy aftertaste. This is simply thicker and smoother with no other flavours. Just straight up pure Tamari I guess. No nuanses. I wouldnt even particularly say it tastes richer. A bit. Maybe 25%. Supposed to have double the strength with double soya beans added. Maybe if it had more salt it would pop out more. Certainly much richer than any non-Japanese off the shelf product. I noticed it coats anything you dip it in very well so I think its designed mainly for that, a premium dipping sauce, whereas the Kikoman is saltier and more of a seasoning for cooking with. Im not sure I would buy it again since there isnt a whole lot more to it for the extra £5, and you get 50% less. If it cost the same as Kikoman and you got nearly as much I would choose this.

Gluten-free dark soy sauce
I love this gluten free soy sauce. The 500ml bottles are just the right size for refilling our small bottle. They came very well packaged.

Top quality Tamari
A deep flavoured and enriching Tamari sauce which is used widely in my recipes. This is a one of the go to condiments (and make) which I rely on for quality and consistency .

Lovely rich flavour, great in stir-fries
Lovely rich flavour. If you can afford it, it's worth paying more for a good organic soy sauce, in my opinion. It's nice and strong (not in an overly sharp, salty way) so it'll go further than the cheaper stuff.
