This is the worst product I’ve ever bought online. I honestly think I could’ve gotten one from Wish.com that would be better quality. First off, it’s cheap plastic and flimsy. There is no way in hell this thing could shred a piece of paper, much less chicken. Secondly, it doesn’t stick to the counter which makes it impossible to turn the top without someone having to hold it in place. I’d give -5 stars if I could!

Saw a similar product on tiktok and had to try it. Delighted to see that it works well. I was a bit taken aback by the size but it works well to really shred chicken and does it quickly. My only complaint would be that it's hard to stabilize and turn on a surface. I've found fhaf holding it and twisting it is more effective.

This device is pretty much garbage. Low quality, and the "non-skid" sticky pads they send aren't non-grip at ALL. They're soft, and so the only way to get this device to work is to hold it perpendicular to the counter and use 2 hands to shred the chicken.

This shreds fine, but the bottom is plastic. This means the device slides everywhere when you use it. If the bottom had rubber feet or something grippy, this would be 5 stars.

It’s hard to use because it doesn’t stick well to smooth surfaces. Because it doesn’t grip, it’s hard to turn to shred.

Absolute trash. The chicken shredder is so flimsy. It takes two people to use, one to hold it down and one person to twist the shredder. One knob came broken but I think it was only glued to begin with. It needs a rubber grip or something on the bottom and it needs to be more sturdy.

Let's cut to the chase. I like tacos. I really like chicken tacos, but I hate having to get a knife and fork and cut the chicken up, or use 2 forks to shred the chicken. Hence, I don't eat a lot of chicken tacos at home. I absolutely hate the prep work that goes into it. This device has changed all of that! Do you remember reading about that medieval torture/death device, the iron maiden? Internal spikes in a closed case? Same concept here. Except far less gruesome! Put your chicken in the "meat maiden," as I've started calling it, press down, and give it a few twists back and forth. Your meat is now shredded! It takes like 30 seconds! I've had chicken tacos 3 nights this week because it's just so easy! (I haven't tried raw meat in it. I think cooked meat is probably easier to shred anyway.) Cleanup is just as easy as using the tool itself. I turn the sprayer on full blast with the water as hot as it will get and just spray it out. No fuss! Then just some dish soap and whatever you use to scrub your dishes with, rinse and you're done! I haven't thrown it in the dishwasher yet and I probably won't. My dishwasher gets really hot and it's accidentally melted some plastic bowls before, but as long as your water isn't ridiculously hot, it's probably fine. I absolutely, 100% recommend this thing if you need a quick and easy way to shred meat!

The bulk of the 4 and 5 star reviews reference a charging cable, misleading buyers into thinking this is a quality product. It is a very cheap, small version of the other meat shredders available. The plastic is very thin and does not look like it would be sturdy for any extended period of use. I have returned the product and reported the listing to Amazon as questionable in practice.
