I am step by step upgrading our old AC fans with DC air circulators, since I want quiet and energy efficient fans that will also circulate the air in the entire room and don't need to blow on you to feel cooler. I was looking for a larger sized model with good airflow that offers more than 90 degree oscillation to help circulate the air on our landing. Air stagnates there, which creates a significant temperature raise in this area in summer, and leads to warmer bedrooms. This model seemed to have all the features I was looking for.Pros:- Good airflow even on low setting due to size- Super quiet on low settings- Higher settings including turbo setting are louder but mainly because you can hear more air flowing (motor itself seems to be still pretty quiet)- Can be used as personal fan on low setting and does not have that choppy air feel that some fans have- App is great and extends functions of the remote (wider oscillation, set up schedules etc.)- Circulates the air in smaller rooms very quickly. Larger rooms with faulted ceilings take more time to fully circulate the air. However, since you can feel air movement before the cooler and warmer air are mixed, it creates a more comfortable feel quicker than expected.- Work great in conjunction with AC and helps circulating the cool air throughout the entire room.- Customer service is great. I had a few questions and Carol from customer support was very responsive and helpful, both pre- and post purchase.Cons:- Since the power cable is similar to laptop power cables, the plug into the fan is round and disconnects somewhat easily when you move the fan. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning- On higher speed the wall adapter gets warmer than expected. Based on Carol from customer service the adapter will not exceed 50C (122F) on full load. Had it running on turbo mode for a few hours and the adapter did never got that hot.In conclusion. If you are looking for a quiet air circulator that has the ability to circulate the air in an entire room, has the ability to oscillate 120 degrees (with app), and can be used as personal fan as well, this product is a good choice.If you are mainly looking for a fan that blows on you and you like the fan white noise, then you may want to look at traditional fans.

I honestly cannot find one thing wrong with this fan. It is quiet, strong, and great quality. Even on setting 4 I can feel the air blowing on my bed. I bought it to replace one that I had in my room already because I wanted a fan with a remote. I had purchased the 13" Breo but decided it wasn't big enough so I will keep that one and move it to the guest room. It was easy to set up and not too big. It is a little more money than I have spent on a fan, but overall I think worth it.

I was comparing this to the Vornado 733DC since both use DC power instead of AC and are also of similar size. This one has more features while costing considerably less! I've never owned the 733DC but I have no regrets purchasing the Dreo. I looked up online for any videos regarding this specific Dreo circulator and apparently the lowest speed only uses 4 WATTS yet moves A LOT of air (thank you Matthias random stuff).Noise is insanely quiet on the lowest setting and you barely hear the motor running, even on the highest speed. All you hear is just the sound of air being blown. Love the fact that I can use the app, the remote control, or the controls on the base of the stand to change how the fan blows air. It's pretty versatile in that regard, although the app is required if you want to do some fine-tuning.Build quality is fine. Sometimes the fan does creak a little bit when it's turning but it doesn't happen frequently.I do wish the remote control had lights in it, or raised bumps to let me know which button is which if I want to change something in the dark without using the app.So far one of the best purchases I've made since it made my summer a lot more bearable while consuming very little energy.

Hey, it's good looking, powerful, and quiet! But I paid a lot for a fan that is supposedly controllable by an app. After 2 hours of trying to figure why it wouldn't connect and no response from support via the app, I called and was told their servers are down and should be back the next day. Well, 24 hours later and it still won't connect.EDIT: About 48 hours later, the app cam online with no further action from me. Was all set to package it up and return it when their servers finally came back. Hoping this server update not a normal outage, I paid more for a 'smart' fan. So far, this fan is remarkably quiet, regardless of speed, and moves a TON of air. Oscillation is not only horizontal, but remotely configurable for tilt angle, pan angle, and vertical oscillation if you want. This fan was purchased to replace a Honeywell tower fan, that makes terrible clicking noises when it oscillates, among other issues. I DID notice the power cord plug has to be really pushed into the rear of the fan or it will not come on. Hoping I don't have issues I read about in other reviews. Anyone saying this fan is not quiet either has a defective one or has never owned crappy cheaper end pedestal fans that sound like small aircraft.
