Good customer service.
I'm not sure whether or not I've just been unlucky, but I bought this box as a Christmas present for my mother and father in law, so had to set it up, prior to them getting it.After managing to decipher the manual, I had the box all plugged in and the satellite lineup set up, It seemed to be working fine until I started removing the channels that were of no use, either junk or pay per view. After spending a bit of time doing that, the box suddenly decided to stop working and went into a continuous boot loop, I switched it off and whilst doing that I noticed that there was also a rather nasty electrical burning smell... Needless to say, it got put back into the packaging and sent it back.*Edit* The seller got in touch with me almost immediately after I posted my above review, and were naturally worried about the problems I had with the box, they asked me if they could send out a different box for free.I said yes, and they sent me out a iBRAVEBOX F10S, I am yet unable to test this, but I will update this review when I can.

Good free sat box but user instructions need improvement.
Good reception once set up. Needed to read reviews from other purchases in order to set up satellite and programs because the enclosed instruction booklet was not helpful. Thank you very much for the advice from reviewers, without which I would have returned the box.

A good value digital satellite receiver once set up
The media could not be loaded. Short ReviewA good value satellite receiver that is easy to use once set up, it just takes a while setting it up.You can receive a lot of free satellite channels, a few in HD and you can also watch YouTube videos if you connect the receiver to the internet. The picture quality and sound quality of the receiver is good and the remote control is responsive.Long Winded ReviewThis Freesat digital satellite receiver comes supplied with a HDMI cable, remote control, power supply and an instruction manual. The satellite receiver as well as all of the supplied items look and feel well made.At the back of the receiver are two LNB sockets one for a the main cable from a LNB that is fixed to a satellite dish and the other is to loop the signal out to another satellite receiver I presume. ( I did loop the signal to a Sky HD receiver and it did work but only if both channels use the same polarisation. If the channel on the Sky receiver did not use the same polarisation signal as the M9s Pro receiver it would tell you it could not receive a signal.)There is also a CA card read slot, a HDMI port, a TV SCART socket, a RS232 socket, a Ethernet port to connect the M9s Pro receiver to a router and a USB socket so you can plug in a USB memory stick to record and play back satellite programs.I have been using this satellite receiver connected to a sky satellite dish, so the satellite dish is in a fixed position so the only satellite signals I can receive are mainly from the Astra satellites although it can receive signals from other satellites if you point what ever dish you use at other available satellites and the satellite dish you use is large enough. When first setting this satellite receiver up I did have a few problems because I personally didn't find the instruction manual well written andunlike a Sky satellite receiver that is quite easy to set up and arranges television channels automatically into a reasonable order ( eg BBC, BBC 2, ITV, Channel 4 etc.) you need to spend a little time setting this M9S Pro satellite receiver up and arranging the channels in the order you want them, though once the receiver is set up it is easy to use and very responsive, with channels changing fast and the remote control working smoothly. My major problem when setting this receiver up, is the receiver would lock up and go into a loop and the only way I could stop this loop was like another reviewer has said disconnect the main cable between the receiver and satellite dish, wait for the receiver to reboot itself, change the channel on the receiver and then reconnect the signal cable.I found the receiver only did this on certain satellite channel's, a couple of CBS channels and some BT channel's.If you follow the below instructions you should be alright.Select which satellites you want to receive signals from.(I just selected all the Astra satellites because I was using a fixed satellite dish that was set up to receive Sky.)Let the receiver download any signals it can receive from the satellite's you have selected, this can take a while around 20 minutes for myself.Once it has stopped searching for TV and radio channel's select ok.There will be a large selection of channel's some scrambled some clear. You can select the channels you want and put them in any order you like, I found it best to search through channels in the order the receiver first placed them. If I pressed the menu to let the receiver sort the channels out in alphabetical order before I selected the order I wanted the channels e.g. ( BBC, BBC 2, ITV etc. ) the receiver would go into a loop as I mentioned before when the receiver tried to receive certain channels a lot more times, than when I just left the channels in the order the receiver had selected them.I'm not sure if updating the receiver before downloading any channel's will solve this problem but once you have managed to sort any satellite channel's out in the order you want them it is easy to select the channel's you want in a selection of different ways.As mentioned above once you have downloaded and stored any TV and radio channels you want, it is easy to select and watch any channels in a variety of different ways, with channels changing fast and the remote control working smoothly with the M9S Pro Digital Satellite Receiver. If you plug a USB memory stick into the receiver you can also record and play back TV programs as well as view other media like photographs that might be on the memory stick. The M9S Pro receiver can easily be connected to the internet by connecting it to a router with an Ethernet cable and when connected to the internet it is easy to up date the receiver with the latest software if need. There are also a few different apps built into the receiver the main ones being YouTube and Google maps, I'm not sure how or if you can add more apps to the receiver. When looking through the M9s Pro's on screen menuβs it looks like it might beable to connect to a Wi-Fi router by Wi-Fi but I personally did not try this out.ConclusionA great little digital satellite receiver that is easy to use and control once set up.The picture and sound quality of the receiver is good and you can easily recorded TV programs when a USB memory stick is plugged into the receiver. My only concern is some people who are not good with technology may have trouble setting this receiver up in the first place and so I am not sure wether to award this product 4 stars or 5, but for less than Β£35 that this satellite receiver is being sold for at time of writing this review I will give it 5 stars and would recommend giving it a try.Thank you for taking the time to read my review and maybe watching my video, I hope it has helped in some way.If this review has helped in any way, in a positive or negative way please click the yes or no button below.
