I feel this fan and customer service needs to be commended. My fan arrived un-damaged but mister system failed after only a few days. I called customer service to get info on replacement nozzles system . Representative could not give me a link for new nozzles but instead sent out a new complete fan. This level of service is rare today. The fan itself is built like a tank. All metal construction and heavy so it should stand up to considerable wind that we receive here in Fort Worth Texas without blowing over. Mist is fine and spread evenly with the oscillating motion. We now have our patio back in this incessant heat of this summer. I highly recommend Built Hard 18 inch misting fan.

Had planned to use with a remote on/off plug, but every time you turn the remote plug off, the GCFI on the cord trips. I may just cut it off since I am plugging into a GCFI protected outdoor circuit.

Fan is easy to assemble (took less than 5 minutes) and very well constructed. Heavy base makes it very stable. All metal fan housing and fan blades. Misting function is surprisingly effective even in Nashville heat and humidity. It has stayed in place through two whopper thunderstorms and works like a charm. The GFI adapter is very sensitive and makes the fan safe to use. It tripped during one of the thunderstorms, which makes me confident of the appliance’s outdoor safety. I bought the 18 inch, oscillating model and it covers the entire courtyard/patio. It’s nice looking, too!

This fan is very loud, even at the lowest of 3 speeds. Also, the mister is either on, with a lot of water sprayed, getting things very wet, or off. No adjustability to the mister.

The media could not be loaded.  I received this fan about a month ago and it's been outside in the weather since then on my front porch. We've had a ton of rain in the last 2 weeks our weather reporters even said the last five days we had 10 inches of rain or more. It stayed outside I came out plugged it in today turned it on and it worked great. Definitely held up under the weather. The misters are really nice and there's a little hose that hooks directly to your garden hose and adds a very nice feature cuz it's already built in to the fan. I would highly recommend this especially as the summer is getting hotter and hotter. No tarnish seen on the fan at all. There are 3 speed settings and adjustments for height and will tilt.

This fan is heavy duty. So sturdy and not cheaply made. 3 speed settings. Really cools you off. My last one, the blades cracked but they were plastic. The blades on this one are made of metal. Great for indoors and outdoors.

When i get it, the blade was bent and stuck in between the protective grill. Also, NONE of the misting heads worked. Luckly, i had some spares in my shed from my drip system.

We placed this fan in our back patio. Despite our extremely HOT Indiana summer, this fan worked wonderful. It is a little loud but otherwise, am very happy with it.
