You do need the correct mask for the filters ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent re-usable filters. *by M***W on 21 September 2016* These filters are excellent. Previously I have used the cheap throwaway face masks and have found myself coughing within seconds and for the whole time I was sweeping out my dusty loft. With these fitted onto a 3M 7000 series half mask respirator, I found I could breath really easily and I didn't cough once. I now regret all those times that I made do with those cheap one use face masks at the expense of my health. These filters can be re-used over and over again until they clog up and breathing becomes a bit more difficult. Then they are simply replaced using a bayonet fitting on the face mask. Although the filters are big they are positioned so that vision is not impeded. I like them so much I have recently bought a full pack of 10 pairs which works out slightly cheaper. These filters are more expensive than P1 and P2 filters because they filter out almost all the dust particles, including the finest ones.
