mediocre performance
touch switch only works sometimes, base unit makes a weird clicking when plugged in and off.it does froth very nicely, but it sounds like a bucket of rocks when it running. I tried 2 of these and theyboth had the same problems. their customer service was out to lunch so I returned it to amazon.try another brand like Moosum. similar price, better quality.

First In Froth!
The Secura milk frother is probably the best milk frother I have ever used that was not a commercial model. It runs very quietly, and uses induction heating and a magnetic spinning whisk to heat the contents of the stainless steel jug. The resulting foamy or hot milk is superior to what the other home units can produce. I couldn’t be happier with the fact that the large frothing container, at just shy of 14 ounces, holds more than enough milk or cream to make two, or even three drinks. It also has a one button control system that has four settings for Dense Foam, Hot Milk, Hot Chocolate, or Cold Frothy milk for summertime coffee drinks. I prefer the Dense Foam setting personally, and I usually add a drop of vanilla extract, caramel or chocolate syrup, and/or a sprinkle of cinnamon before frothing. Mmmmmmm. This frother, like all the others I have owned, works best with whole milk. Nut and oat milks will not froth up, though you could heat them up for hot chocolate or café au lait. It takes a bit over a minute to get the temperature up to about 145 degrees, and if that’s not hot enough for you, just run it through another cycle and watch the temperature on the display. I wouldn’t go over 175, or you get that funky burnt milk taste. The container is food grade 304 Stainless Steel, and like I said, uses a magnetic spinner that is super easy to remove and clean. I rinse mine after each use. The greatest feature to me is that the milk pot is removable and dishwasher safe as well. I’ve got two other of these machines you cannot get wet on the bottom where they connect to the electric, so cleaning has to be done with care. Not the Secura. Just pop it off and throw it in the dishwasher or have the maid do it by hand. The two year warranty makes it even better. Yes, it is a tad bit pricey, but with this brand, you do get what you pay for. I have had another Secura at my apartment in the city for a year now, and it’s operating flawlessly. I highly recommend this frother!

If only it would heat up a bit more
I like everything about this frother execpt that it doesn't get quite hot enough. It heats up fast but the thermostat is set at something like 150 degrees, which is OK if you're putting froth on top of an already hot cup of coffee, but not hot enough if you are trying to make matcha latte or hot chocolate. I've tried running two cycles, which gets just a bit hotter but still not quite hot enough. Other than that, it's quiet, it froths milk into a very thick foam, almost like whipped cream, it's easy to clean, and it has a low speed setting that mixes but doesn't fully froth for making latte's. It heats by induction so nothing but the stainless steel mixing pot gets hot. The base stays cool. The one button control can be a bit finicky sometimes the button to be pushed more than once to get it to respond. Overall, I am happy with it and would buy it again.

Wonderful dense foam, just don't lose the whisk
Ive loved this foamer for the few months I've had it, (have a super automatic espresso machine but prefer this foam ), recently my whisk went missing and seems there are NO replacements. Ive gone to the Secura website and there is no replacement whisk there. I ended up getting another version of the Secura that has 2 plastic whisks, does not make dense foam like this one did. Why can't they provide replacement whisks, especially as you only get one?
