Peace of Mind in Every Beep: My Experience with the Fridge Alarm
Let's chat about the Fridge Alarm – a simple yet effective tool that's saved us from a few kitchen mishaps. Ever had the fridge door left ajar, only to discover it hours later with everything inside at room temperature? It's a frustrating and costly experience, to say the least. That's where this little device comes in handy. Since adding the Fridge Alarm to our kitchen, those late-night snack runs have become a lot less stressful. It's not overly loud, but just enough to catch your attention when needed. With customizable settings, including different decibel options and modes, it's easy to set it up to suit your preferences. I've personally set it to beep 30 seconds after the fridge has been left open, and it beeps every time it's closed to remind us to double-check. It's a small change that's made a big difference in preventing food wastage and maintaining the freshness of our groceries. Overall, the Fridge Alarm has become a practical addition to our kitchen routine. It's not flashy or fancy, but it gets the job done and provides that extra layer of assurance against forgetful moments. If you're tired of worrying about leaving the fridge door open, this might just be the solution you need. It's paid itself already in peace of mind.

Does the job.
Initially arrived without adhesive. Seller corrected immediately. Mounting simple - clean surfaces with alcohol, peel backing from adhesive pads and press onto alarm and magnet, press onto door and frame, aligning magnet with mark on alarm. Pull plastic sheet off batteries. Operation simple choose alarm sound and level by cycling thru sound using top butto. Choose mode using . bottom button. Works fine on my freezer - open door and alarm sounds , to remind you door is open, while door open shuts off so noise does not drive you crazy while searching/ loading food, then after short while sounds again. Repeats to keep reminding you. When you shut door alarm stops. I found lowest sound level too low. Highest audible in next room 50 feet away.

Good value, serves purpose.
Very useful and it’s currently serving its purpose in letting us know if we forgot the fridge slightly open. Good value. Warning though - the glue they provide is extremely sticky and you really only have one chance to get it right.

Easy to set up. Reliable.
Easy to install. I was sent an open package without mounting tape. I did not take exception to this because I was able to provide my own double-backed tape. The instructions were clear and the setup was straightforward. We have been using it on our refrigerator freezer door for three weeks and it has performed exactly as expected.

Great Product!
After not closing the garage freezer door completely a couple times and loosing a lot of money worth of food I finally put this alarm on the door. Works great!!!

Makes sure door gets closed
I use this on a bathroom door to remind the kids to keep it closed. Otherwise our dog steals the TP and redecorates the living room. Its alarm tone is definitely loud and long enough to be heard through the bedroom doors, and the short beep to indicate the door is closed is a little quieter and short enough not to wake sleepers. It was easy to install. I haven't had any trouble with the included adhesive pads, even though I needed to reposition it at first. Just make sure you thoroughly clean and dry the surface first. If you have to reposition, pry slowly from one side, otherwise the foam gives before the glue. If I needed it on the kitchen fridge I wouldn't hesitate to get another. It's probably not loud enough for an auxiliary fridge/freezer in a garage or outside, I use a wireless thermometer with alarms for that.

Batteries die in 1 day
I bought this for my elderly parents because they accidently will forget to close the freezer door or its not shut properly and we have had to change the batteries out weekly.

Bad for fridge doors
It’s not sensitive enough to use for a fridge door that stays slightly cracked open. Need a more sensitive device for small gaps.
