Clayton Crain: Evolution

Ideal for any Clayton crain fan.It's just a timeliness of his work and development with his most famous works such as cable, spiderman and of course the infamous carnage.

I thougt this would be a best of Crain book. But I got disappointed. Not many of the masterwork unfortunatly.

I rated 5 stars because I wanted to balance the rating out. Crain need to sell more of these. This book is an overview of Crain’s work from 1980’s to 2012. If you love or like Crain’s artwork, buy this book and see what his art was and see his other old projects.

I expected a bigger art book with a lot more printing quality. It's A5 with poor colors and low paper quality. It's my fault because I didn't ask anything previously and the impressive cover art was my only guide to buy...I'm sorry, but I wouldn't recommended it.

Petit livret (0,4 cm d'épaisseur) qui parle de la carrière dudit dessinateur, assez classe mais un peu déçu qu'il n'y ai pas plus de dessins comme on les connait aujourd'hui (utilisant photoshop) notamment grâce à Spider-man, X-Force mais plus des croquis durant sa carrière avec peu d'explication et des personnages très peu connus. On ne voit pas assez l'évolution du dessin, du croquis au crayon de bois au final fait sur ordinateur... Mais pour 10€... on ne peut pas trop en demander!

This book is amazing and filled with fantastic information about Crain and his work. It's a must have for any true fan.

My only problem with this item was that I was expecting a larger number of drawings from mainstream characters such as Carnage. But there is some beautiful work here, and I wouldn't think of returning.
