STANLEY Quick Flip GO Bottle, 36 oz, Polar

I can't believe how much I love this water bottle. I mean, it's a water bottle. For the record, I did NOT jump on the Stanley fan wagon when there was all the crazy hype about Stanley cups. I recently started replacing my plastic water bottles with stainless steel double-walled bottles and I have four requirements. I'm picky. 1. It must have a way to lock it closed in case I want to throw it in a bag. 2. It needs to have a way to carry it (loop of some sort). 3. It needs to have a decent opening for drinking (NOT a straw I have to clean)! 4. It needs to have a good threaded top I can take off to add ice to my water if I want to. This bottle is perfect! I have some bottles we got at Costco several years ago, as well as another name brand, and the mouthpiece/opening on this is just amazing! It sounds silly, but I can gulp and take big drinks much easier with this one, and I swear it keeps drinks colder longer than my other bottles. It doesn't leak, it's extremely well made (I mean, c'mon - Stanley has been making thermoses since 1913), and it looks nice (if that matters). This is hands down my favorite bottle. I wish they weren't so expensive because I really want another one! My husband wasn't used to it and his only complaint was that because the mouthpiece isn't just a round tube-like opening, you do have to make sure you drink from it straight on (not with the bottle turned sideways or you will spill water). Also, the hinged lid is sturdy and doesn't try to close on your face while you're drinking. :)

I bought the 36 Oz version for coffee to take to work. (Yes, I love coffee that much!) I work 12-hour shifts, and this keeps my coffee hot for 7 to 8 hours. I've had this for 2 years now, and it's even survived a couple of hard drops onto concrete. I stick it in the dishwasher on high heat after every use, and the only place that the paint is showing any wear at all is on the bottom where it is in constant contact with the table. It doesn't leak at all. The lid lock stays in place great. Just make sure to use the lid lock before you place it in a bag. I forgot once, and made a mess! The cup and lid are very easy to clean, because you don't have to take anything apart to access the inside of the lid. This is slightly more expensive than other options, but it's worth it because it's outlasted every other option I've ever owned.

Better than the cup all the gals were raging about a couple of years ago. My wife got one of those big Stanley cups, during that period went all the gals were out buying them and going crazy over them. I like the idea of the superior insulation, but at the same time, I am a man. I couldn't buy one of those girly cups, and keep my man card at the same time. So that's what made me look. "I wonder if Stanley sells a similar product, in a more manly, thermos form." And they did. I've had it for a couple of years now, and I just bought a second one. The verified purchase here is the one from a couple of years ago. I'm telling you, in terms of functionality, it's twice as good as those cups the girls are all buying a couple of years ago. I freeze propel water, cut the ice block out of the bottom, and then fill it the rest of the way with propel. The next day, I still have half of my water bottle size block of ice inside that thermos, unmelted. The wife has the cup, which started all this, and hers doesn't stay cold nearly as long. The cups are good, and keep things cold wrong, but not as long as he services. Not nearly as long.

Leaks constantly don’t buy waste of money
