Gives your laptop 3 more USB ports
This is about 200 times cheaper than buying a new laptop to replace the one you have which only has one USB port. It's about 20 times cheaper than a fancier hub that has all sorts of connections. If all you need is more USB 3.0 ports and you don't need more than a few inches of distance between the hub and your computer, this is your wise choice.

Revived.....
I revived an old laptop and needed this to give me more ports as those old laptops were stingy with them. Worked as it should and the short cord made it easily accessable. Great price, seems quality.

Nice addition to a SBC
Shown in picture is Odroid N2L, the smallest offering in Hardkernal's new lineup with a SBC Case builder case. This dongle travels easy, was low enough current draw for the SBC, and added 3 USB ports. I haven't checked to see if it's actually working USB 3 or not.
