Smaller than I expected. I guess I just didn't pay enough attention to the measurements, but these are really tiny. They are also pretty flimsy. The front latch works okay, but the back "hinges" are just strips of plastic that are already cracked, I can't imagine they will last long at all. The color on the latch doesn't match the product photos - it is a sort of faded pink, not nearly as deep and bright a color as it appears. I bought them in part because I really loved the color of the latches, so that was a big disappointment. Most of my boxes also have several little black dots on them, like they were splattered with ink. Not a big deal, but they certainly aren't as pristine and shiny as the product photos make them appear. I was going to give them 3 stars, but the more I look at the product photos, the more I feel misled. The removable dividers are nice, and work reasonably well. Overall, I'd say these are worth maybe $1 a piece, not more than that.EDIT July 2018: It's not letting me reply to the seller's comments below, so I am adding a response here:Thanks for the reply, sorry I didn't see it before now. Did you adjust the color in the product photos? It looks a bit more muted (and more accurate) now, but I'm on a different computer (and it has been a while).The hinges weren't so much defective, as they seem poorly designed to me. Even if they started out fine, that strip of plastic seems very likely to break after repeated opening and closing. That said, I've found I don't really open and close my boxes all that often, so they are still holding up ok.I adjusted my review to 3 stars, because it looks like the price has dropped a little ($8.69 v. $10.49), and due to the potentially corrected images.

I loaded 28 colors into the little boxes. They hold three strands 20 inches long (from larger hank of beads) in each little box. I had no problem opening or closing the little attached lids. I am in seed bead heaven, perfect for travel/RV/craft shows. I am ordering more of these little boxes for my smaller Swarovski crystals and need even more boxes for all the silver findings I make (jump rings, clasps, etc). The perfect little organizer for anything tiny.

I purchased this item to store presser feet for a sewing machine and it's a perfect size. It holds 10 standard size presser feet and I can remove a divider for the longer ones. They are well made and snap tight. These are small, about the size of a cell phone and each compartment is approximately 1x1 inch and about 3/4 of an inch deep. So it only holds small items and if that is what you are trying to organize, they are perfect!

I bought this for little knitting supplies like stitch markers and this case is perfect size for carrying them. It is a set of identical well made boxes which served my initial requirements but I wish some of the sections could be removed for my cable needles and larger supplies. I recommend this item to anyone who does hand crafts like knitting, beading, jewelry,etc.

Perfect fit for my one- inch- deep desk drawer. Very convenient for organizing many small items in the drawer.
