Wow!.......after reading the reviews on this system i was a little reluctant on ordering it but could not find a similar system and price.However i went ahead anyway,it came earlier than expected and i was not disappointed.Easy to set up,sound quality good Bluetooth good,DAB radio good,CD good..tray a little flimsy but fine.Choice of EQ settings.Base is overpowering but you can solve that by using the DSP button.Nice finish not to big glad i bought it.

Great value and a wide selection of connection options. The only criticism is the sound is a little bass heavy and the volume level jump's from low to being louder at low a level.

The item was delivered on time and looked the part but when I started setting it up I found that the speakers had too much bass in them. I have a big cd collection of generally classic rock, blues and singer-songwriters and the bass was overwhelming when trying to play Steely Dan, Kate Bush, Springsteen, etc. It doesn't have bass or treble controls but has a dps (which I took off) on the remote control and a graphic equaliser (eq) with five different settings. Even with the lightest, most trebly setting (classical) the bass was too much for pleasant listening - just getting in the way of a Clapton guitar solo, for example. I decided to take it back (the seller is, by coincidence, in my city of Nottingham) . They (audio electrical) understood my concerns and I am awaiting my refund to go through.

Whilst the product has a fair number of bells and whistles - USB connectivity, DAB, FM, CD - the sound quality, or more correctly the bass, actually make this product not fit for purpose. I mean, what is the point in a stereo if you can't hear it because the boom boom boom gives you a headache. Even on Radio 4!If you turn DSP: off then it is barely listenable but you end up with more of a mono sound.They might as well have not bothered with the equaliser, it gives you 4 or 5 presets all of which are useless.AVOID AVOID AVOID

Sound quality is very good but you have to press the on/off button several times to turn it on, it may be going back.

I love it.The bass is only slightly adjustable via the equaliser. But that's ok by me.Great
