We're on to our second one now as it's really fantastic. Highly recommend if you like a full-on woody fragrance which lingers even after candle has been extinguished.

I never get tired of the aroma of this candle. I used to be able to buy it locally, but sadly, not any more. It burns for such a long time, and the aroma is beautiful but not overpowering.

I usually buy this from a local shop but with the current situation everywhere is closed. I’m so happy that I’ve been able to buy this! It’s my favourite candle! Yes they are expensive but we’ll worth the price! I would buy from this company again! The candle was well packed- bubble wrap & cardboard box & was also wrapped in pretty tissue paper so it was a real treat unwrapping it! I felt like it was my birthday! I will be buying again!

I actually ordered the wrong scent, I meant to get the tobacco one but got Amber & Smoke instead but it’s still delicious! I see other people leaving reviews saying it doesn’t smell..? It does! Not instantly but once it’s been burning a little while the room smells fantastic! I will be buying the tobacco one once this one has run out because I smelt it years ago and it’s delicious, can’t wait to get it again!

Scrumptious smell

Beautiful presentation! Which is what drew me to buy this candle. I used to buy candles purely on aroma. But COVID stopped that pleasure!Sadly what this candle offers in its stunning aesthetics and sturdy quality, is not followed through on the aroma. The aroma is lovely but way too subtle; honestly I can barely smell anything from this candle and for the price this makes my purchase - disappointing.A quality aroma would have scored this a 5 star!

Great new company form me to use as I now prefer soot free candles. They have many interesting scents and you can actually smell them as they burn. Highly recommend this company called PADDYWAX in apothecary jars.

The eucalyptus in this candle helps balance out the citrusy smell of verbena. But I love it. As always, Paddywax candles don't smell strongly immediately upon opening the candle (without burning it). Nor do they not have enough scent. I also enjoy how a lot of the containers for their candles can be reused.

This is my go-to scent for a warm cozy house. Not only is the scent great, but the glow of the amber canister is beautiful as well. I have always experienced a slow burn with the candle too, lasts a nice long time. Plus the order shipping was so fast!

I have bought this candle several times now. This last time was a Christmas gift from my husband. I love the packaging and branding - the amber glass container and the glass stopper top are classic but more stylish than most jar candles. It burns clean and is long lasting. I wish there was a *little* more longevity in this candle, but soy candles tend to burn a little faster than all-paraffin. It's worth the trade-off for a cleaner burning candle.The scent is AMAZING. It is perfectly balanced between patchouli and sweet tobacco. I really like both scents on their own but this makes for a very nice blend. It feels like the perfect blend of masculine and feminine. It is strong enough to fill my living room which is fairly large but not overwhelming at all. Love this candle!
