Promiss of better mincing!
I haven't used it yet, as it just came back but I already think it is a great product!MY PREVIOUS meat mincer was electric, size of a kinescope TV and loud as a tractor. All the attachments fitted in to a shoe box which required even more space. My husband tasked with hand-washing it, though he will outsmart it, and put it in to the dishwasher. It came out black covered in sort of crystals. So I scraped it, and cleaned it, and put it in the box. When I came to use later, it was black again. So I tossed it with (almost- as it cost over 100£) regrets and ordered myself this new mincer. It's brilliant! It so small, that takes more or less same space as an electric kettle. Plastic is very thick and sturdy. It can be washed in a dishwasher and it's easier to assemble/dis assemble it that lego blocks! I am looking forward to use it and clean it.My husband did not deserved it, due to his dishwashing transgressions, but I will make him burgers anyway! And soon!

Pick Your Surface
Having butchered a deer recently, we had a mince pile that needed mincing but my ancient grinder had given up the ghost. It's something we only use once a year, so didn't want to spend a fortune. This value for money mincer does the job wonderfully, if you ensure you do two things;1) Pick the surface carefully to attach it to. We tried it on both a granite worktop and a formica style laminate worktop and found that, whilst remaining attached, it did tend to slide around. We then tried it on a wooden works surface where it was far more secure, with no lateral movement.2) It needs to be fed with smallish chunks of meat, around a cubic inch or less. Anything bigger and it becomes clogged and hard to turn.Overall easy to use and clean - and great value for money.

Awful item!
The delivery of this item was fine, however, the mincer itself is a complete and utter waste of money!! I bought it primarily to mince up some good quality Lamb that I had bought from the butchers and I soon realised that the plastic casing and 'screw' simply cannot cope with mincing chunks of meat, despite it being advertised as a meat mincer and it broke within 10 minutes, or rather it started melting as the plastic overheated and both the end of the screw and the casing were rendered useless. Terrible product. If I had the option of giving it zero stars I would have.

Flimsy,lightweight mincer.
First of all there were no instructions etc and although I requested some via email I never even got a reply so customer service as flimsy as the mincer. It did actually mince cooked beef ok but it was very tiresome and the handle was forever working loose. For very occasional usage its probably ok but for regular use it would be better to look elsewhere for a more robust model.

Good enough
Does its purpose for the price paid. Easy enough to wash and assemble. A tip is buy lots of meat and if you do weekly shopping mince all in one go :DI have to add an review, unfortunately, you can't rely on this product for making lamb mince, I haven't got a chance to try beef though as it is broken after less than 1 pound of lamb is minced. The plastic part obviously not working for heavy duty meat like lamb. see photos attached how the plastic got crossed.

Excellent domestic kitchen mincer, good value for money
Ordered Sunday arrived today with usual Amazon efficiency. Just minced up half a lamb shoulder left over from Sunday roast. This little mincer did its job perfectly. Comes apart easily and is easy to clean. It remained firmly fixed to our kitchen work surface throughout.I am amazed that some users were unable to get this to work. There is no way this appliance should earn a one star rating. I can only assume a level of incompetence by the users!Buy it! You will not be disappointed.

Appears ok ‘as new’, but questions over resilience and long term suction power
Looks well made. However, this may be fine with softer or uncooked products, but it struggles with cooked meat, making the handle tough to turn, putting a strain on the components and pushing the vacuum suction to its limits. Cutting cooked meat into small pieces before mincing does help. The funnel can be separated from the main body for cleaning, which is great, but this weakens the overall design, so just take care not to put too much strain on the mincer mechanism.
