This USB-C OTG adapter works exactly as expected. It’s compact, easy to use, and makes it simple to connect USB devices while still allowing charging. The connection is solid and I haven’t had any issues with it disconnecting or not recognizing my devices. Great little adapter to keep in a bag or with your electronics. For the price, it’s definitely worth having around!

This OTG adapter worked perfectly with my Google 4K Streamer. I had tried multiple others that would not work. Setup is simple since no drivers are needed to get it to work. As soon as the streamer rebooted, the USB hub was detected. Subsequently, the thumb drives attached were found immediately as well.

This cable does function and do what it claims to do...sort of. I can successfully plug it into a phone with a USB-C port on it, plug USB-PD power into the power-only USB-C socket, and plug a USB-A device into the USB-A socket, and actually have the phone charge while it's simultaneously talking to whatever the USB-A device happens to be (phone is in "OTG" / host role mode, but is sinking power). Which is exactly what I needed. BUT, as far as I can tell, this cable does NOT contain any kind of power regulation circuitry within it in order to keep the feed of power going to the USB-A device that's plugged into it at 5V. Several times I would try to use this, and the USB device (keyboard, disk, audio DAC, etc.) would work for a little bit and then suddenly stop, but the phone would keep charging. So I pulled out a USB power tester, plugged it into the USB-A socket in between it and the device in question, and discovered that the USB-A devices would stop working because the voltage would suddenly jump from 5V to 9V!!! Whenever the phone went into fast-charging mode, the USB-A device was getting directly exposed to the higher voltage & nothing seems to be stepping the power down to 5V! I'm extremely lucky that nothing of mine that I tested with ended up getting fried!! On top of that, the connector that plugs into the phone is itself flaky on mine. If I wiggle or bump that connection at all while it's in use even the slightest bit, the USB-A port loses power. I tried it with more than one phone/host and it did the same thing, so it wasn't the USB-C port on the phone itself. Straight trash; don't waste your time OR expose your equipment to this product.

Other have mentioned and I missed it, but if you want to use a USB Ethernet adapter with this you need to purchase the 60W version. The 18W version will not send power to the adapter. I'm using it with an Onn TV streaming device to add Ethernet.

First I got the 18w version, then wasted 2 days trying to my device to detect my OTG flash drive. Returned the 18w version and ordered the 60w version. It connected on the first try.

Nachdem ich meinen Sennheiser 250 Linear aus 1988 wieder flott gemacht habe, bin ich die Welt des HiRes Musik-Streamings eingetaucht. Nach dem Kauf eines DAC / Kopfhörerverstärker und aufgrund der Freude durch den sehr schönen Klang, stellte sich mir die Frage, ob das auch über Android geht. Der DAC brachte ein USB-A Stecker auf USB-B Kabel mit. D.h. Der OTG Adapter benötigte eine USB-A Buchse, weil der USB-B Stecker in das DAC geht. Den Adapter habe ich dann so verkabelt: - USB-Stecker ins Tablet - die USB-A Buchse mit dem DAC-Stecker verbunden - USB-C Ladekabel an die USB-C Buchse des Adapters Läuft. Ich bekomme Musik bis 96KHz ins DAC und gleichzeitig wird das Tablet geladen. Sehr empfehlenswert.
