The seat that came on my Drive Medical 11148-1 Folding Steel Bedside Commode Chair, Portable Toilet, is super hard, thin and very uncomfortable. This seat is a must have, it fit perfect and is very comfortable. Well made sturdy seat with nice cushion feel. You will not regret buying this seat!!

Purchased this for an older family member. The seat that came with their commode was very hard and uncomfortable, this one is much better. Only problem, and reason I knocked off a star under "value for money" was for something another poster mentioned: There are no instructions for how to attach the clips that hold the seat to the commode frame. No diagram, no pre-drilled holes, nothing. I'm handy with a drill and used to doing this kind of thing, and I eventually figured it out, but for many people this will be a real puzzle, and possibly a show stopper. Once it got put together, however, everything was fine, and my relative was much happier & more comfortable.

This seat is way sturdier and more comfortable than the regular seat.

I returned this. It did fit on the bedside commode but it was not comfortable for my mom. It was simply too hard.

No instructions in the box. Should not have to guess where to put the clips. It should be pre drilled with the holes.

Very good, much cheaper than buying whole chair
