Balance Bar, Healthy Protein Snacks, Peanut Butter, with Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and Zinc to Support Immune Health, 6 Count (Pack of 3)

I order these from Amazon since they are a little hard to find in stores. After trying many protein bars, many taste like there is sawdust in them or styrofoam rice crispies, I found these and they are smooth inside, and taste like natural peanut butter inside and out. They are a little high on the calorie side, but filling with a decent amount of protein and vitamins so I don’t get hungry soon afterwards. It helps to avoid higher calorie impulse eating when running errands and missing a meal. I like to keep one in my purse at all times. I have tried the chocolate flavor, but for me they are too much like a candy bar and not as satisfying.

The bar had a good flavor (peanut butter) and was easy to chew (good when you are in a hurry.) The key for me is to eat the bar at least 1 to 1.5 hours before the energy is needed. For my long weekly run (2 hours) I eat one 1.5 hours before the run and I feel great throughout the run. For a marathon, I would take one 1.5 hours before and one right before the start. This will last throughout the race. I also eat one post run/race to help with recovery. The cost is more reasonable than other bars. Overall, these bars do the job.

Honestly, my favorite of the Balance Bars in the Chocolate Peanut Butter. Unfortunately CPB has not been available for some time, so I thought I would give this a try. Pleasantly surprised. Tasty, chewy and fresh. I will purchase again, but still hope the chocolate peanut butter bars make a comeback.

This is a bar for those who like straightforward peanut butter without all of that other stuff. I'm that person. This doesn't taste chalky or "protein bar" like. It tastes like a chewy, delicious treat and only has 210 calories. I like to chop it up into little squares, place them in a ziplock bag and munch on it throughout the day. It's a better treat than Reese's pieces.

I have been buying the peanut butter Balance Bars for over 20 years. They are on the dry side but that gets me to drink ~20 oz of water when eating them. This was the first time purchasing them from an Amazon vendor. I received them wrapped in a clear plastic wrap that had a strong perfumed soapy smell! When I took them out out the plastic wrap, the cardboard box still smelled of this scent, very off putting. Luckily, the bar itself tasted normal. I would have rated this 5 stars if there was no noticeable smell. I am signed up for the repeat order and will report if this strange scent occurs again.

The taste is honestly not the best but it's bearable. Compared to other bars I was relieved to find one with less sugar so it's a trade I was willing to make. The ingredients are everything I looked for and more, so it's you get a good value for your money. Doing research this was the best meal replacement bar for the cheapest price.

I love these protein bars. The texture and size of the bar makes you feel satisfied and controls your hunger longer than many other bars do. It’s tasty and not too sweet.

Love these protein bars. Have been purchasing them for some time. They taste great and r filling. My go to favorite.
