Ral7040 Window Grey Soft Wax Wood Filler Scratch Repair Stick

Did the job
I bought this to fill in two tiny holes on a new drawer front which is a grey grain effect. It filled the holes perfectly but was a little bit too light. I used a pencil to darken a little then used a eraser on the area to blend and it has worked perfectly.

Lifesaver!
I bought this to repair a piece of grey furniture that arrived with a slight crack in it. I was searching for wood filler on Amazon as I was going to fill it and then try and find a grey paint similar to the colour of the furniture. But that would of been more fiddly and time consuming. So thankfully I came across this! It’s so quick and easy to do. I simply melted the wax with a lighter and pulled a bit off and pushed it into the crack, and smoothed it over and cleaned the excess with a credit card. Not sure if that’s how it’s meant to be used but it worked perfect for me. The colour is slightly different of course, but it’s close. Defiantly looks better then brown wood filler! If you look closely you can tell it’s been repaired however from a distance it looks perfect whereas it didn’t before. It dries solid and stays well. So overall I’m very impressed with this. Works great and is cheap. Highly recommended!

It’s okay. Depends what you want it for.
It’s okay and easy to use (well me guessing how to use it) just disappointed that it’s a lot lighter than it looks in the photo so doesn’t blend with our flooring at all. Also a bit sticky once in the gap so now thinking all it will do is have dirt stuck to it which will be difficult to remove. Delivery was prompt but was just in a bag no user advise.

An easy solution for scratches and chips in laminate flooring
Easy to use, the key is to get the right shade for the job. I bought two different shades and then blended them by hand until I had the right colour. It's great for blending into those irritating scratches that spoil the look of laminate. I don't think it's designed to be used in heavy traffic areas, as it never hardens, but I've used it in corners and areas where there's less footfall. I also like the fact there's no need for excess packaging. The bar can then simply be stored until the next time there's a scratch that needs dealing with.

Does what it should.
Difficult to sort a colour match from the illustration on the website. However it worked well. Needs to be used in a warm space.
