My wife is recovering from blood clots in her brain, and she is constantly battling headaches as she heals. This "ice hat", as we call it, is a key part of her recovery. It touches all around her head, unlike those that have openings in the top. It also can be pulled down to the base of her head in back when the pain often radiates. The only downside is that the gel cools fairly quickly, and it's been much better having two so we can switch them out.

Amazing! Absolutely love this thing. Very comfy, doesn’t get my ears cold, doesn’t block my eyes so I can still read, watch tv, etc. My daughter and I both suffer from mild migraines and this is a godsend. We both have thick hair and it still gets my scalp cool. My husband is bald and he finds it too cold so maybe wear a head scarf under it as a protective layer. I do agree with everyone else, get more than one! The cooling effect only lasts at most 20 mins so being able to trade off is a perfect idea. Going to be buying one or two more for sure!

This beanie is very comfy, and I appreciate the extra space over the ears so it doesn't press hot/cold too close against the ears. It doesn't get as cold or stay as cold as another beanie I purchased, but it is the most comfortable.

Fits very well and has helped many of my headaches. I like how the ear area doesn’t get as cold as the rest of the hat.

This cap has been so helpful for me post concussion. I bought 2 so I can use it 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off as recommended by my doctor. I felt like the regular ice packs were too hard for my head but these caps are comfortable and relaxing. I recommend them highly.

It is a snug fit which I do not mind because to me that seems to help relieve a little bit of pressure. It does not stay cold for very long though. I have left it in the freezer for several days and at best, I get about 10 minutes out of it.

This hat is perfect for what I needed. It gets nice and cold, but not so cold that it burns my scalp through my hair. It helps calm everything down. I’m going to pick up a few more so I can have multiple on hand when migraines strike. If you have a large head, this may not fit you.

Excellent!! When my son gets his hair cut, his scalp is always so sensitive to the point of being painful to the touch, itchy and open to irritation and inflammation ; since using these cooling caps, he has noticed a significant difference in the comfort and healing features he now experiences after getting a haircut! Very good purchase and well worth the cost of having a better experience after barbering.
