Need to connect to a 2g network, they will not work with 5g
Now that I've been able to get my light bulbs to connect to the app I am much happier. However before you purchase these you have to realize that it requires a 2G network will not work with a 5G Network! They were a little tricky to get hooked up I needed five candelabra light bulbs for my dining room light and I purchased these so that I could use the dimmer mode on them because we have a 1900 Colonial and my light switch is a light switch plug combo so I am not able to put a dimmer in hence the reason why I bought these light bulbs. When I was going to hook them up first it only recognize two of them and then three of them and I couldn't get it to go past three so what I did was I unscrewed the two that it wouldn't connect to proceeded and finished with the three that I could and I added then I redid the whole entire thing for the fourth one and repeated this steps for the fifth one and finally I have all five able to connect to the app and they work great! But what a hassle, if I didn't need them for this option I would definitely be returning them because it was such a pain in the back side!

Can’t connect -Poor customer service
I tried multiple times to connect. I have more than 10 bulbs, 10 plugs, smart thermostat, doorbell, robot vac—I know how to connect even challenging devices. It wouldn’t even connect to a dedicated 2Ghz WiFi. I attempted to communicate with their customer service via chat. The agent to 7-10 minutes to respond between each message! And clearly was not reading my messages. It also appeared scuffed up and used. I will choose a different brand that has been in the business longer.

Unreliable
Frequently disconnects from WiFi network, requiring me to unscrew and rescrew them into the fixture to force a reconnect. Threw them out after giving them a chance for a month; they’re just not worth the hassle. Buy higher quality smart bulbs like Hue or TP-Link instead of this garbage.
