I've been looking for a pair of punching bag gloves for some time. I've gone to several sporting goods stores and did not find what I was looking for - disappointing, to say the least.I did some extensive research and on Amazon and after reviewing all the various options (and reviews), I decided to give these mitts a try. After having received them, I took them to the YMCA with me, to give them a "test drive." They fit GREAT and I"m very appreciative of the leather quality of these gloves. The wrap around strap at the wrist is easy to grasp and tighten as you put the mitts on.It's been about a month now and the mitts' leather is becoming softer and more pliable. I cannot express just how much I appreciate the quality of these mitts. I think you'll find the same experience.PROS: Quality, LEATHER, easy to put on/offCONS: None noted at the time of this writing

Great old school bag gloves! Durable, very well made. Surprisingly breathable. Real leather. I would recommend a size large for regular fists size. My fist are not large, but a large fits perfect for me. You could wear with wraps. Great tool to work on your punching mechanics!

First off I'm not a fighter. I consider myself a cyclist/runner. I like to hit the bag for an upper body workout and try and get the upper half fit (work in progress). Got these to replace some old "UFC" mits I've been using for years. I saw a couple reviews saying the smell was bad when they arrived but strangely mine smelt really good... Lol... Anyways... The quality seem really nice I have high hopes they will last a long time. Some might not approve of this but I'm able to do pushups in these mits which I love. Between bag reps I'll knock out some pushups and keep on slugging away. Hopefully the pushups don't wear the wrist support out but oh well I'm loving them!

Minimal but not zero padding. Thin layer of foam underneath the leather. Obviously not ideal for sparring. Good for toughening up your hands on the heavybag. Only had for a month or two, so can't say if it holds up yet. I used to wear a pair of plain leather patrol gloves which have zero padding, but depending on the gym and how stringent they want to be with the rules, you could get in trouble with such things for not using proper equipment. These gloves look right and look like you've got good protective equipment but will still give you that hard conditioning with minimal padding so you can toughen your hands. If you like the impact of bare-knuckle training but try not to appear obnoxious or disrespectful to the gym or gym equipment, these will probably suffice to keep you out of trouble and coming back without catching flak from gym management. (Probably.)

The left glove I got was a size large and the right one a medium . I need a replacement I’m talking to the company that makes these unless these guys can fix it fast id appreciate

These are perfect in design and construction. I do martial arts/kickboxing. Very hardy and very comfortable to clench a complete fist. This type of mitt is the best way to build proper bunching form and real feel the bag whilst not shredding your knuckles. I often use them with my hand wraps underneath for extended sessions and wrist support. And, they look cool too (I go the white to match my various other glove types). Highly recommend for anyone who wants to train old-school to get their hand/wrist angles/ from correct with a clenched fist. This kinda of mitt will hell iron out all the defects in your striking. Before this, I've only seen/used kinda crappy/cheap ones. Worth the investment.
