Excellent Content, Wish a woman did the reading
The content of this book is excellent. My only complaint is that the audio book was read by a man (on the Audio CD). Although he has a great voice and is easy to listen to, I do believe that a woman would've done this book better service. After all, a woman wrote the book! The good part about having the audio CD's is that I was able to listen myself and then pass them on to my friends and family who I know don't take the time to sit down and read a book.I love to see how God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He showcases His miracles among those who live in oppressed nations. He shows himself to those who still believe. In America, we often don't see this supernatural side anymore. We are taught that this style of God manifesting Himself only applied in the Old Testament and time of apostles. We learn to push the supernatural aside. Our brothers and sisters around the world still do see His miracles, as they yearn to seek His face.I LOVE how Reema's heart was tender enough to listen to the Spirit's promptings. How many promptings are around us everyday, but because we don't live in an "exotic" place, we tend to push it aside and plug on with the everyday.Looking forward to sharing the Spanish version "La puerta que nadie puede cerrar" with some of my friends soon :)Also, the page for this book on Facebook provides some nice updates on how to pray and God stories around the world.

Encouraging! Muslims are hearing and responding to the gospel!
Islam's birthplace, the Arabian peninsula, has been a spiritually dark place for centuries. Today religious police carefully "protect" their people from worshiping the Jesus of the Bible. But despite the incredible legal and societal pressure to remain "safe" in Islam, Muslims are hearing and responding to the gospel. If you've ever thought it futile to give the message of the Bible to a Muslim, Reema Goode's book Which None Can Shut will encourage you that Jesus is still drawing people to Himself, even people on the Arabian peninsula.I've read or heard some stories of Muslims converting to Christianity that struck me as cheesy. Did they really embrace Jesus because they were convicted of their need for righteousness, reconciliation, forgiveness, and atonement, or simply as a way to rebel against the dominant Muslim culture? Did they think Jesus would make their life on earth better or did they treasure Him in spite of the promised pain that Christians will face in this life? Did they truly abandon Islam or try to "have the best of both worlds"? Which None Can Shut is a breath of fresh air: the gospel is more central, more distinct, and more accurate. The book is collection of true stories from the ministry of the Goode family in the Arabian peninsula. It's a fast read, and hard to put down. You'll be encouraged to share the gospel more often with Muslims--and your neighbors. You'll also pray more when you see what an impact prayers are having in the Muslim world.

Finding Out What Life is Like
There are many times when I have wondered what it would be like, to be a missionary in a Muslim country. After reading Reema Goode's Which None Can Shut: Remarkable True Stories Of God's Miraculous Work in the Muslim World I feel that I have an idea of what that life might be like. Writing under a pseudonym to protect not only her and her family, but those who have been led to Christ by them, Mrs. Goode shows us the world that she, her husband and her two children live in.This book is not a book that instructs people how to evangelize the Muslim world, nor, is this a book that tells the world the statistics of those who were Muslim and have now come to faith in Jesus Christ. What this book is, is a wonderful collection of experiences that Mrs. Goode and her family have lived through while sharing the love of, and the Good News of Jesus Christ. This book is a very easy read and was one that I had a hard time putting down. As I read this book, I felt as though I was having a cup of coffee with Mrs. Goode in my living room, listening to her tell her stories to me.This book will encourage as well as challenge you. If you are even remotely interested in the lives of missionaries in Muslim countries, then this book is a must read. Please note that Tyndale House Publishers has provided me a complimentary copy of this book for my review; however, the opinions are my own. I have not been required to publish a positive review.

A great inspirational read
I’ve bought this three times already because my friends borrow and love it, so I give them away. I keep rereading it myself as well.

amazing stories from the mission field
This is written by a wife and mother, giving an account of various experiences she has had on the mission field in a Muslim Country. The specifics are kept vague in places to protect people: names are changed. It is an easy, quick read, so it is appropriate for both teens and adults. The stories are amazing. Some are simple: ladies unexpectedly receptive to gospel materials. Others challenge some of the theological convictions of Western seminary professors: dreams of Christ; demons cast out through prayer.Underlying it all is the simple obedience of a family that lays aside western dress and customs to bring the Good News to people we might consider our enemies in a political context. The "ordinary" Christian life becomes "extraordinary" when simple faith is exercised.

" I loved this inspirational book
"Faithful is He that has called you, Who also will do it."I loved this inspirational book. I like nonfiction, and when the author narrates the miraculous things that God does when one is faithful to His call, it brings hope for the world. I am amazed that Christians can take their family and little children and relocate to a Moslem country to live among the people and share Christ where the consequence could mean death. I highly recommend this book to believers.

COURAGE & COMMITTMENT
A clear and courageous true story of a family in a foreign culture and environment, who with a young family, show God's love in action by kindnesses and by prayer. They came to understand the difficulties daily faced by their neighbours and friends and it is evident that they as a family were united in their desire to share in their own faith in a positive and loving way. Has left a lasting impression on me that whatever the difficulties faced...love for others is the key that opens the door of relationship with God and with one another.

Which none can shut
Mission work in Muslim countries is far from easy, but Reema shows just what friendship with Muslims can do when they see the power of Jesus at work in Christian lives. Very encouraging book.

I couldn't put this book down! Wonderfully encouraging, inspiring stories of Muslim men and women having visions and dreams of Jesus and then coming to know Him personally.

Eye opening!
It was great to see what God is doing in a country that is officially closed to the message of His love.
