Moleskine Classic Notebook, Soft Cover, XL (7.5" x 9.5") Squared/Grid, Black, 192 Pages

This is my FAVORITE notebook of all time!!!!! I've ordered 4 of these within a year! I have turned it into my planner/EVERYTHING notebook. I throw it in my purse (a large one, of course) and it goes everywhere with me. I use this everyday, multiple times a day and it takes a beating. Mine is well worn but there is still an element of class when you pull out the black, leather-looking notebook. It always looks professional even when some of the stuff inside isn't. ;) All moleskines have the handy pocket in the back for storing the few little bits you pick up here and there. The elastic band keeps it together in your bag. I personally love the square pages (gridded). The squares seem to fade to the back but the rows and columns are always there in case you need them. This is also my favorite size. I've used the smaller ones but this one seems to work best for me. Lots of space for ideas, notes, calendar, EVERYTHING!!!

The quality of the notebook is impressive. I've shoved this book in my backpack, under a stack of papers and books..my cats have sat on it numerous times - and the thing looks brand new. The cover keeps the pages from wrinkling, folding and ultimately destruction. This is my new notebook - hands down. Worth it if you want to keep what you write in it.

I've been wanting a portable notebook that I can bend like a composition notebook but with more style. I've heard of this brand multiple times but didn't purchase it because of the price. I've bought different notebooks but was ultimately unsatisfied with different things about them. The most comparable notebooks I've purchased have been Japanese but they were too small. I went to Barnes and Noble so I could figure out what notebook once and for all could work with everything I wanted and I'm so glad they had this size (XL). I'm able to write without caring too much about my font size and have all the room I need to use it as a daily schedule or a journal whatever I want. It's sleek and chic. The only downside to the grid paper is that my felt pens look less bright and the paper is a bit yellowish vs the blank no grid moleskine . I would buy it again but will go with the blank paper instead of the grid.

As an Application Engineer for engineering software, I have to takes TONS of customer notes during demonstrations and workshops, so having a compact yet extremely study notebook with grid lines is a must, and this notebook delivers in spades. I've already filled up one and I'm on my second after about a year. Wouldn't be surprised if by the end of my career I've got a giant stack of identical notebooks, all of which are this model.

Love Moleskine. Love the bigger size for note taking in college. The smooth paper is a pleasure to write on, but it's the size that make this specific notebook perfect. During psychology I have enough room to space out definitions, school of thoughts, and anecdotes my professor is adding. Comment of my peers: you can sell this notebook after you fill it up for twice the amount you paid. That's how nice my notes look Thank you Moleskine!

I really love the style of this. I’ve bought cheap journals and expensive ones. This worked for me in the past. I just got this yesterday evening. I’m annoyed because the corners are kinda smashed and bent. This might seem small to others but not to me. It’s a simple and nice looking journal til you look at the corners. Not very happy about that. But that could be the delivery guys fault. My suggestion would be to package a little better. This was wrapped in a thin piece of clear plastic and in a large envelope with a thin layer of bubble wrap. The journal is great. The corners just mess it up.

I love Moleskines!! The fact that I can get them in this wonderful softcover (which doesn't make the cover crease too badly when I bend it over on itself a lot) makes my heart smile. The size is great, too; I csn't seem to find softcover journals this large from other sellers. The pages are a lovely cream color, and, while there is some ghosting (I use Pigma Micron 03s), it's not terrible or distracting. I was able to color pretty heavily using Tombow Dual Brush Pens, and had no bleed-through. I own two of these things, and I'll probably buy more in the future.

best game in town. soft leather, back pocket, elastic band. i exclusively use moleskine for my journal/notebook needs. never a disappointment, except when they don't have gridded pages in stock, that's a bummer. but I like this size because it fits in most bags and is fairly durable, despite having a relatively soft cover. the advantage to the soft cover is that it folds over on itself easily when you need to write on the backs of pages.

I've been using these notebooks for many years now and I keep coming back to them. That says it all, right?
