I've been meaning to get something like this for ten year after seeing these hideaway compartments at a friend's house. I finally remembered to do it this year, and ordered this kit after reading a lot of reviews.Overall, I'm quite happy with this kit. It wasn't too difficult to install, but I took my time to make sure that everything would be aligned properly before drilling. The instructions included with the kit were quite good and the small paper template was very helpful.It was a bit difficult marking the lines on the inside of the front when installed, due to my sink basin being so close. I measured the opening on the cabinet and made sure that the lines that I drew on the front were the same width, so that the hinges would install correctly. I pre-drilled all of the holes, being careful to not drill through the front panels. (I used a piece of tape and a red sharpie mark on the drill bit as a guide.) Getting the top screws tight on the cabinet side of the hinges was the most difficult part, due to a lack of room to use the screwdriver without scraping my hand on the top of the opening, or banging against the sink basin. The slots on the hinges leave a little bit of working room to make adjustments in case you don't get your measurements exactly perfect. I left the screws that retain the the bins a teeny bit loose, so I could remove the bins for cleaning.Once installed, they work well but do seem to almost require two hands to open, due to the way that they pull out and then fold down. My hands are large enough that I can use one hand to grab the top and bottom and pull it open, but my wife and kids need to use both hands to pull on both sides at the same time.I also put some foam rubber stoppers on the inside edges of the fronts to reduce the banging when they are closed. It helps some, but they do close pretty hard.I'm very happy to have a hidden place to keep my sponge and dishwand, instead of using a ugly tray suction cupped to the sink, or just laying them on the counter.Attached is an animated GIF showing them open and closed.

From packaging that does not protect product during shipping and storage and non existing installation instructions and demolished template (see packaging) to lacking design and lousy end result.UPDATE ... I have ordered another set from different reseller and it came packed in R-A-S branded box, well protected and with instructions and no damages. The reseller is the problem not the manufacturer.The product itself is okay and working as intended, installation is a bit of a pain.

Was not easy to install cause no template was included in the package.Instructions were had to understand.Went to YouTube and found some videos but then again all videos showedhow to install with a template....Once installed they worked great. They were easy to open as some reviewssaid the hinges were hard to open. Not the caseAll in all good product just missing a template in the package

The instructions are very clear and if you follow them the installation is fool-proof. However the text is extremely small and hard to read, but perhaps that’s more an issue of me getting older.

Expensive but now I have additional storage that was useless space before. Fairly to install too.

It was perfect, installation was quick and easy. Shelves are sturdy with ample storage space. Hinges are of good quality. I would recommend this product.

Works great and makes great use of this kind of drawer if you ha e one already and want to add this or put I. The entire assembly on one.The only thing I would like is the option to buy just one of the two drawers since I only ha e space for one of them.
