Great educational tool
I have to say that this is the best Solar system themed puzzle that you can buy right now. Make sure that you don`t forget that this is a "floor" puzzle, so it will be a bit bigger than your average 48 piece.I bought this for my son who loves astronomy and is really into the wonders of the universe app (2.5 years old) and he absolutely loves it. The names for the planets are on an attached sheet for reference in case you are not familiar with them and let me just say that I don`t agree with some other reviewers in that it should be printed on the puzzle. The last thing I want is the word "Mercury" blocking the image of the actual planet on a product that is aimed at kids who cannot or can just barely read letters of the alphabet. As a parent I have to tell you that the biggest bonus this puzzle gives is that it is trying to be as factually accurate as it possibly can:- all the celestial bodies are roughly to scale (I say roughly, because you will never see an enjoyable image with the size of the Sun and planets to scale as the planets would appear as dots).- the image includes the (inner) asteroid belt, and it is accurately located between Mars and Jupiter- the stars are not plain white but between blue and red, just like real stars when watched through a telescope due to surface temperature differences- contains the bigger moons of the bigger planets- does not list Pluto as a planet (as it shouldn`t)So all in all accuracy is the biggest plus for me as I would just hate to teach something to my kid and have to explain a couple of years later that some of the things I thought him were lies. If you think alike and your kid is into astronomy: buy it, you are not going to regret it
