## Questions & Answers

**Q: does this work on the raised toilet seats (the ones that add an extra 3-4" in height for elderly)?**
A: This would on any seat with standard plastic nuts & bolts on the seat fastener.  It will not work (nor is it needed) for he new "quick-Release" seats.Hope this helps

**Q: 6 washers for one toilet? Or 3 seats can be repaired with 1 package?**
A: Use one washer per hinge. I had only one slippery hinge, so I used only one and have saved the other five for the future. So if you need to do both hinges, then you can do 3 seats with one package.

**Q: Would this be of any use for UNtightening metal nuts and bolts that have some rust and therefore resist removal?**
A: I use WD-40 all the time, but for loosening bolts, I think you should use Liquid Wrench or penetrating oil.  They are made for this purpose, not general purpose.   And control your urge to try WD-40 first, because it will fill what cracks it can reach and IMVSO make it harder for the Liquid Wrench to get past there to where the serious corrosion is.   Finally, let sit for 30 minutes, tapping occasionally on the bolts (though maybe tap less hard than with a car, because the toilet can break!)

**Q: does this work on chrome hinges and bolts**
A: I'm not sure - if all bolts & nuts are standardized on toilets, then it ought to - but all of my toilets have plastic bolts and nuts and this works fine.  On one of my toilets I have to use a screwdriver to hold the bolt in place above while I use the tool to tighten the nut from below.  Hope this helps a bit.

Though followed instructions and toilet seat seems tight and secure after two days the same problem occurred the toilet seat keeps moving it was also expensive to purchase and I expected better
