Fixed my problem - 2012 Ford F150 loss of 4wd
I have a 2012 Ford F150. The 4wd quit working. I checked the vacuum line to the solenoid. Good. I checked the solenoid. Good. I checked the vacuum line to the actuator. Good. There is only one thing left other than transfer case issues and that is this part. I replaced both and my truck now has 4wd. Do your homework. Look at Youtube to determine is this is the issue. It is really easy troubleshooting. If symptoms point to actuator, this will fix your problem. They've been on now for 6 months and working perfectly. Highly recommended.

Disappointed
Ordered these actuators in May 2024 the right side failed. I changed vacuum lines . Check valves and solenoid before I realized this 2 month old part failed July 2024. The window to return was in June 2024.

Easy to install
Package was delivered quickly. It came with the 6 bolts for both IWE and grease. I had it done on my garage floor in under an hour. Parts seem pretty solid. My 2011 F150 has 4x4 again

They work just make sure your vacuumed lines are in good shape
They work fine installing wasn’t bad just hope none of the ball joints or tie rods are bad or you will be replacing them as well like I did , make sure the vacuum lines are in good shape and it creates vacuum or this will still not work and 4x4 will be trying to engage and make weird noises at hubs

i applied quite a bit more grease to the part then it comes with , other then that easy installation and fixed my 4x4 also replaced the wheel bearings at the same time so everything was good……… update ,actually had to use the 4x4 got stuck in the back yard and after 2 months the parts failed leaving me stuck , not sure if i got a faulty part but they did give a full refund back for my inconvenience
