We switched windows that held our air conditioning unit, and our shades no longer go all the way down to the sill. I bought this to cover the exposed area but still let light in. It was very easy to measure, cut and install. We've had it up for 3 weeks now with no sign of peeling.Installation tips:- clean your window first- measure twice and cut once- get your window really wet first- peeling the backing off is simple with the tag that's on it. It is very difficult if you have to cut a new piece and there is no tag.- have a credit card or other hard object available for pushing out excess water from air pockets.- have a few paper towels available to dry the excess water when you are finished- it does not stick to itself, so you will have to recut a new piece if you do not measure properly

It does seem like areas around the edge (we're we cut and trimmed) are not adhereing as well. I may try to reclean the edge of cling and window to see if it will stick better. We applied to bottom of glass door to disrupt the dogs view but there is a toddler and those edges might be too tempting. Otherwise the privacy factor is great. Working the cling so close to the floor was awkward but worth the effort. We like that we get light but keeps the dog from seeing everything that walks by.

I did not like how it stick (adhesion) to the window. It took multiple attempts and tape. I found it to be cheap. I did not remove it so I could not give it a bad rating

Easy to use and looks like real shutters

Very easy to apply...am still a bit confused by the size options..I purchased horizontal lined pattern and the largest width to do my patio doors....and yes I got the correct size sent...if it had been a plain frosted or vertical lined film it would have been a perfect fit, but I wanted as in the picture horizontal! ..so I have only managed to do 3ft up the glass..but I will need 4 more rolls to complete. .so be awear when ordering pattern film you will need a few rolls..I think they have the width and length wrong way round to be honest!

I bought this instead of a blind for my kitchen window as you can see by the picture it looks fabulous, even though I could not get all the air bubbles out you cannot see them unless you go right up to the window, this has given me total privacy plus giving light into my kitchen, only thing would have liked it broader for the window, without me having to put it on in 2 parts.

Beautiful window frosting but no protection from the heat and brightness.

Absolutely useless. Edges don't stick. The edges are crinkly, so you may have more luck if you lie it flat for a bit.
