Warning; its true the first time and everytime
At least the 'Crystal' name for the ink is close to being the 'red' of the old days. A caveat about the cap. If you gently blow on it, you create a high pitch whistle. The warning part is that it does the same if you suck on it. Yep, its true it writes the first time and everytime. The problem is if you suck or blow through the hole in the cap it also works everytime. I don't think its kid safe.

A favorite for grading
Homeschooling several children means lots of grading. These always work well, write smooth, and having a good size package like this means a good value for my money.

These are awesome red pens! They write PERFECTLY, no skips or blobs. I go through a whole pen every 2 1/2 tests I grade, but worth it.

Incorrect description - doesn't write smoothly at all
The description says Xtra Smooth. But the pen isn;t. Tried it on various paper surfaces, but the same result. Moreover, the ink color looks washed out - was expecting a saturated red color. And the worst part - the item can not be returned for a refund - can only be replaced with the same unacceptable stuff ...
