BICCristal Xtra Smooth Black Ballpoint Pens, Reliable Medium Point (1.0mm), 12-Count Pack

These are the pens that we used in the 1960's for school and everything else. They are good pens with their own fame for having been the go to pen for all writing. Back then there were no Pilot, or gel pens and they were not needed. And, if you wanted something a little more expensive with good writing qualities, there was Papermate. With Bic pens though, (the pen of pens as far as I am concerned), nothing else was needed. For school kids it is the best because of how well they write and how economical they are. The only down side is that it is so easy to lose the cap. But, C'est la vie.

Good 'ole Bic! I had gotten used to the gel pens because of security concerns, but for writing finely without the ink spreading (like when writing in the thin pages of the Bible), the Bic is much, much, better than a gel pen.

Struggled greatly to see some colors these work out great and the bold med print is all the better thank you.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have been using the BIC cristal pens for years. The ink flows very smoothly and the colors are great. I was happy to find this variety pack for a low price. I will definitely buy them again in the future.

Love Bics! Have been using them since junior high back in the 70s. I appreciate that they're still affordable as well! My only issue is that some of the caps are on so tight that I literally had to use a pair of pliers to get them off -- that's the only reason for 4 stars versus 5 stars.They're still as dependable in writing. You can't beat 'em!

My GenX self loves these pens. They remind me of passing notes in history class. My more “sophisticated” coworkers can scoff all they want.

Pens are very smooth, Deff recommend. When your sitting it write very smooth, wailing is amazing! The ink dries quickly does not make!
