Perfect fit
I did a 1200 mile move & had to have more storage in my Rav. Picture this…. 4 dogs, 5 cats, it was literally a clown car bursting with my furry family ha ha. I had a hitch mount fully loaded but had a few more bags to try to squeeze in somewhere. Enter these cross bars. They were easy to install, yes as a woman they were easy to install! The directions were clear & simple to follow. Common sense goes a long way as well. They fit like OEM bars but without the crazy Toyota price. I didn’t notice any wind noise coming from them at all (the only wind came from my dogs). They are sturdy & hold up against the elements. I had 4 XL weatherproof duffel bags full of clothes strapped to these for my move & not once did I have any issues. I like the fact that they lock. My only recommendation is to squirt some WD-4O or its equivalent in the locks themselves. 1 of my locks was rather stiff & hard to get the key to turn in. Once I used the WD-40 the problem was solved.All in all these were sooooo easy to install, fit perfectly, sturdy & not to mention they look pretty bad ass on my otherwise boring Rav 4.

I like them easy to install. The covers with the lock on it doesnt seem to fit flush with the roof leaving a tiny gap but other than that they seem well constructed

Well designed and well manufactured
Seems quite solid and well designed. I haven't put my carrier on it yet, but I am confident there won't be any problems. The locking plastic covers don't fit perfectly flush on the rails (maybe 1/16th-inch gap in places), and they were a bit challenging to figure out, but I do think they'll do what they were designed to do. Haven't noticed any whistling. All in all, I think this is a good system and a good value. The instructions? Well, they're not polished writing, but I was able to compensate for their lack of finesse and get the job done. Pleased. Looks fine on my Rav4.
