This thing is awesome. I have used it occasionally for things that would have required a traditional torch and this is much faster. I use this working on firearms, from breaking the bonds of locking adhesives to reshaping metal. It is nice to be able to use adequate heat and not have so much disturbance around the area that I am heating. I save a lot of time with it by not having to refinish everything that I use it on. I killed the first unit I bought due to me running it at many cycles at the extent of what it can handle (max cycle time and minimum cooling time) and using my own coils for use inside of a shotgun barrel (do not do that). This is designed to work for outside use only, not inside of things. Customer support from Bolt Buster was first class. I have used the replacement for a while now with the included coils on the outside of things and it has worked flawlessly. Thank you Bolt Buster!

Ok, so I broke two breaker bars, and cursed the gods while trying to take off a stubborn axle nut from my honda pilot. Tried air gun, tried torching the nut with a propane torch for 30 mins, and it smoked, but never got hot enough. Not even red. Then I googled and cursed this product for being so expensive, but bit the bullet and went all in, desperate to take that axle nut off. It arrived quickly, and I excitedly prepped to try it out. Plugged this gizmo in, and heated the nut , red hot, within 40 seconds. Put the air gun back on, a cheapish one, and that sucker of an axle nut came right off.. No fuss. NO effort really.. Dudes, listen to me, save yourself some cursing and get this tool.. tell your wives you want it for fathers day, xmas, anniversary, but find a way to get it for the tool chest!! Compromise and let then get a new purse while you get yourself this tool!! Must have!

Quality product that works great. I use it all the time on exhaust manifolds at work when changing turbos. It will save you from a head ache of bolts broke off as they come right out after using this. I also use this on larger bolts that are frozen with a 1" gun and after using this the 1/2" will take them out

Great for removing rusted and stuck bolts and nuts. It is also useful in removing bolts that have been secured with red loctite. Especially useful are all the different fittings provided with the tool. Well worth the cost!
