Ego Battery Pack, 56V, 5.0Ah, Li-Ion

This is 5.0 amp, when I bought the blower I only got the 2.5 amp, so this one is a beast and will last twice as long. You cant beat EGO, great warranty{save your receipts}. They are powerful, better than the gas back packs, and not noisy like them. And you don't have to breath all the gas and oil, and all the noise. The gas and oil fumes are very bad for your health also, and the fact that the back pack engine is so close to your head, not good! EGO all the way, just need 2 batteries. now they make a 7.5 amp, super beast.

I like the extra operating time this larger battery allows but it is understandedly heavier so I bought the shoulder strap which makes it much easier to carry.

Like the product and the length of the battery is good I thought the price was a little bit high but I would buy it again when I need to

This is our third Ego battery. We have one that is a 2.5 that doesn't last too terribly long. About 20 minutes at full speed. And the 5.0's last between 30 and 40 minutes at full speed. We have enjoyed getting away from gas powered to battery powered.

Works as intended. Battery life is pretty good, but it does make my blower heavier for sure. Definitely happy with the purchase.

After 6 months battery will not charge. I bought another charger thinking that was the problem but a smaller 2.5 AH charges on both. 5 year warranty invalid as I bought it on Amazon. EGO said I needed to buy it from an authorized seller otherwise warranty void.
