Large dice
These are fantastic. I feel they are suitable for any age. My nearly 2 year old likes playing with them and my seven year old and myself takes it inturns to tell storys. Really gets them thinking about describing word.

Ideal as writing prompts or simply to help children with verbal storytelling
These are absolutely brilliant storytelling resources for children! You simply roll the dice to get picture prompts for your story - blue dice (x2) for character, orange dice (x2) for settings and green dice (x2) for situations. You can roll as few or many as you like depending on how complex you want the story to be.The cubes are made from soft, firm foam so feel nice and squidgy and very satisfying to roll (though watch out for teeth marks if you're playing with little ones around!).Children can use these as writing prompts or simply to help with verbal storytelling or imaginative play. They are ideal for school resources but equally for at home use and I definitely feel they are worth their current £100 price tag!

Story cubes
The story starter cubes, are soft and large chunky cubes with pictures on all sides for little ones see. It helps develop my sons imagination, as he has to create a story associated with the image. Its a great way to get little ones talking and thinking in their own world. It empowers them to take control, and be creative.I like the fact that there sponge, as it makes them more durable. The one thing i would suggest is storing them appropriately, as the white drawings may fade over time.

Good way to engage reluctant writers
The media could not be loaded. My son absolutely hates writing and struggles with creative writing and imagination these cubes help to enable and prompt him. They are nice bright vivid colours which is very eye catching. These cubes are soft and smooth, squidgy and fun to roll. These are also good to open up Conversations and don’t necessarily need to be just for storytelling. Each side of the cube has a different picture. The colours are also key as each colour has a meaning as below• 2 character cubes (Blue)• 2 setting cubes (Orange)• 2 situation cubes (Green)You can use as many of the cubes as you need and is versatile with the amount of keys to use. Children are more likely to retain the educational value when it is fun, engaging, Visual and hands-on learning.I would highly recommend for home or educational settings

Creative cubes!
THere are 6 dice like cubes in this set that will encourage and help children build and develop storytelling skills. They are intended for age 4+ which may be a bit young however the more they are used the better the stories will become. Basically you roll the cubes and whatever is face side up you make a story up. There are two character cubes, two setting cubes and 2 situation cubes, so plenty of stories to develop. You don't need to use all 6 cubes, start with less and then add more to get longer soties. Encourage children to build more into the stories. It all adds up to a fun activities and really aids storytelling. The cubes are well made and are in three colours: blue, green and orange. Kids will love playing and adults will enjoy helping them make up stories. It is actually quite fun to hear the creativeness come through! The price of £13 may be a bit expensive, but they are good!

Mediocre quality
I love concept of these and they are super fun to play with. Sadly quality is lacking as seen in picture. And out of 6 only 2 are “perfect” perhaps just bad batch. Not sure. These are made from soft dense foam which I appreciate as kids like to throw stuff. But for price i feel it should be more quality tested. I have few sets from this company and they are innovative and good quality usually.

Brilliant for stimulating stories and storytelling
These are a great idea. I've used similar ones with phrases on in school before but hadn't seen these picture ones before. At home, they're lovely ways to encourage youngsters to make up stories. There are three pairs of cubes - one pair with characters on, the second pair have settings depicted and the third pair give a situation. With a roll of the dice another story is started! They would be useful in class or group situations, too. They appear robustly made and will hopefully last a long time. Great resource for parents and anyone involved in teaching!

Foam dice
Six quite large foam dice. They are soft and slightly squidgy.Different pictures on each of the faces of the dice, which prompt imagination and story making. Colour coded for person, place and situation. Although, I found some of the pictures didn't really add up with their category. They roll nicely and lightweight so easy for little hands.I have given 4 stars and not 5 as I found some of the pictures a bit unclear. I also think that they are too expensive (£13 at time of writing).
