Has it all! Mystery, danger, romance! And a dog!
Each book in the series continues to develop the main characters, location, and sites of Tuscany. The characters are believeble and interact well throughout the story. It is truly enjoyable reading.

A nice mystery in lovely Tuscany
This was a very pleasant book with an engaging mystery, interesting characters, and a bit of a travelogue. Having had the pleasure of visiting several of the locales in the story, it made the read even more enjoyable.

Another Fun and Complex Mystery for Dan & Oscar
T.A. is great at plot development and particularly good at adding complications for Dan & Oscar to figure out. Dan now has a lady friend to consider in his crazy PI world. A fun and fast paced read amid the wonderful scenic descriptions of Florence and the surrounding Tuscany countryside.

Dan and Oscar "Doggedly" Pursue a Murderer
Dan, retired detective from Scotland Yard, is growing tired of his private detective enterprise, prowling around after unfaithful husbands, and Oscar, his friendly Labrador pup, would prefer cases with more ladies involved. Oscar likes the ladies.Luckily, a big movie producer, cast, and crew are filming in Florence and are randomly being murdered by a killer with a crossbow.I doubted I would ferret out the culprit, so I did what cozy mysteries demand--settled back and enjoyed the characters. There were several attractive women suspects who were possible love interests for Dan. Oscar liked the ladies, and so did Dan.Florence itself was a charming character, full of beauty, history, and excellent food. This book is a perfect winter read. It takes away whatever dreary scenery looks back at you from your window to a sunny, lovely tour of the Florence area of Tuscany.

another fun read from T.A. Williams
The only problem with this series is it makes me want to jump on a plane from my home in Oregon to get to Tuscany as soon as possible! Looking forward to the the next Armstrong and Oscar adventure.

Very good
This is another good book in the series. I like the main character and his friendship with the Italian police inspector. The mystery was interesting and it has just enough action. I recommend it!

I’m thoroughly enjoying this series…
Glad that I found this series and the characters of Dan, Virgilio and who can forget Oscar. The secondary characters are well developed. The stories make me want to visit Italy and the region where Armstrong lives. The description is very idealistic and the food sounds like a feast made in heaven. I’m not much for Chianti but the sweet white wine is just what I love.I hope there are a lot of books in this series so I can live vicariously through them. Would definitely recommend.

Love the backdrop of Italy
Cosy easy read book - characters developing with each book. Not sure how realistic an ex British copper & Italian police jointly working on cases is - but makes good story telling
