Sanding Sheets

My favourite sandpaper ever. And I use a lot. I only buy this sandpaper now as the paper backed ones are a poor imitation once you've used this. It might look expensive at first, till you use it and it doesn't break or tear. Lasts a very long time in comparison to other types.

These did the trick my only downside of they worn down quite quick but wasnt a problem as there was a lot in the pack. Really easy to install and to change they are also alot cheaper than leading brands

This is exactly as described as in the details. There are 5 pieces of each of 5 different grits (25 pieces in total) of this abrasive mesh. The coarsest is an 80 grit whilst the finest is 400 grit.We have used these on small hand held applications rather than fitting them to the sander. In use they seem to maintain their abrasion. The open mesh means that they don’t clog, this particularly being the case when we have used it on some small pieces of pitch pine on the lathe. We have found that the range of grits is sufficient for pretty much all the applications we have used it for. These have included a small amount of lathe work, cleaning up and leaving a finished surface on good quality plywood, rubbing down paint work and roughing up the surface of some brass components.All in all these are strong, quite durable and can be easily cut into smaller bits as necessary. They might seem a little expensive but given the likely longevity of them actually seems to be a bargain price.

Bought these to save a bit on the official Mirka abranet pads.You do get what you pay for though. They absolutely work, and do a good job sanding.They don’t last as long as the official pads though and aren’t as hard wearing. I’ve found that they’re more likely to rip, especially in the corners.As others have mentioned also, the 400 grit pads are useless as there’s no Velcro on them so they don’t attach to the sanding block.These pads have lasted me the renovation of one bedroom and I’ve nearly run out, but I think I’ll buy the official pads again next time.

Good selection of mesh sizes, which have been used on both an electric and hand sanders. Nice that they don’t easily clog. How long they last does depend on surfaces being sanded

I have been wanting to try mesh sandpaper for a while when wood turning, I wish i would have a long time ago.ITS AMAZING, this cuts the tedious sanding by half for what i do, it doesn't clod up and cuts wood like a grinder to metal.It also seams to last longer than normal paper, i guess its due to the mesh.i will never go back to normal sandpaper again.

It seems to work. I don't work with a lot of mesh so I don't have much to compare it to. I use it to make custom sanding tools for curves etc. and it does work well for it definerely better than paper backed strips.
