Good blades (from a Lord fan...)
So, if you're a DE user, you know how personalized blade preferences can be. Upfront, I really like the Lord New Platinums...for me they just work well and I get a great shave at a good price per blade. So when I saw the 100 pack of the Big Bens (also made by Soliman of Egypt) for $7, I figured I'd give them a try.I find they are very good blades, very much along the lines of the Lords. Maybe a touch less sharp, maybe a touch less smooth on the first shave. I do a two pass shave every AM (WTG and XTG) and I've gotten terrific results with these. Shaves number two and three typically are really smooth and easy, but on the fourth shave I can detect the beginnings of a little chatter and tugginess. I can't speak to longevity, as I switch blades after the fourth shave, no matter what blade I'm shaving with.I would put these a little below my top two (Lord New Platinum and Bic Chrome Platinums) and above their Soliman stable mate Shark Platinum and Stainless. I would rate them as sharper than Astras, but not as smooth. I generally use mild to medium razors (EJ DE89, Gillette Tech, Gillette Super Speed) and I'm happy, with a smooth, close shave and no burn or weepers.

These work great if you don't push too hard.
I originally ordered this brand because I tried a variety pack and I felt Big Ben gave me the closest shave and was gentle on my skin. When I received it the outside packaging said 'Lorde's' which was another brand I had tried so I thought the wrong blades were delivered. Neither Amazon or the seller offered a return/exchange, but they were only $7 for 100 blades. When I opened the package I discovered they were Big Ben blades. Lord's is the manufacturer and Big Ben is the model. Anyway, they are good blades. I have a medium course beard that takes me about two weeks to grow to a full beard. Each blade lasts me about a week. I use normal shaving cream, but I rub in a lot more water to the cream to thin it out. I have not tried to flip the blade to see if I get additional shaves because they just aren't that expensive. If you are new to safety blade shaving the biggest piece of advise I can give you is let the razor do the work. If you push too hard which is common with the expensive big names you will get razor burn. Gentle strokes (with or against the grain) will work great. I still don't think a safety razor shaves as close as a multi-blade. But I got a 100 blades for the cost of one multi-blade so I will make that compromise.

Works great good quality and no plastic!
Have lasted years. Nice clean shave without razor burn. They save way more plastics that traditional disposable. Great price!

impressed with these blades
normally have a handful of brands normally sticking to.not a snob about blades. So, try new ones here and there.these are fairly sharp out of the package and work well on medium thickness hair. With grain and against grain shaving goes smoothly.the impressive part is how well it holds the sharpness. most of the time can get two great shaves and one good shave out of a blade, so changing blade after two usages. That is including whole head shaving. these, are still just as sharp for a WHOLE 3rd shave. could push it for a fourth half really good shave, but switch out after.overall found a new brand will buying if price is good.

A great shave at a great cost!
Not quite as sharp as Feather but they seem to last longer and shave smoother, and they're cheaper too.Bought 2 packages of 100 which should last me years.

Excellent. SMOOTH, and fairly sharp.
Might be one of my go-to blades. Thumbs up.

Decent Razor
This razor gives a decent shave but not a great one. If you have tender skin, this may well do the trickfor you. If your beard tends to be thick and you have rough skin, then look for a Feather or an Astra.
