Batteries work but are off-gassing. They do smell, took them out of the house and put in barn

This brand of CR123A batteries has a higher current rating than the Tenergy brand and the expiry date is 2033. Last time around I bought the Tenergy brand in 2018 and the expiry date was 2023, only 5 years after the purchase date. So far these batteries have performed much better in my wireless security system.
