Doesn't taste like instant
I'm a bit of a coffee snob - I prefer pour over or French press, with freshly ground beans, and I'd rather drink water than most instant coffee. Then I stayed at a hotel in Germany where they had packets of Jacobs Kronung in the room. I was tired and really wanted some coffee so I gave it a try. It's not quite up there with pour-over, but it is miles better than any mainstream drip coffee. The flavor is rich without being bitter, and it's now my goto coffee during the week.
