Excellent product matching the best available out there at the real markets...
I bought some beautiful aleppo chilli flakes at the Spice Mountain in Borough Markets in London, and fell in love with this fantastic spice. It is not too hot, yet has a bite, it has a nice acidity and softness to it. So i was apprehensive ordering through this new to me provider. I shouldn't have worried, its is fantastic, and comes in just the right size at 100g to keep it fresh (yes I use it a LOT!) Wonderful mixed with your favourite sea salt, fennel seeds, and coriander seeds, or whatever takes your fancy. Colours your salt beautiful colour, and fantastic condiment that goes pretty much with anything especially white fish and white meat. I add it to my turkey mince burger patties as well. Thanks Chillipepperpete!

Versatile and full of flavour.
Although not so finely ground as my last purchase of Aleppo pepper these are a bit tastier. Since being introduced to this particular chilli I have restocked four times. This is the most flavoursome one to date. For anyone not in the know, and just reading this review before making your mind up, Aleppo pepper is a fairly mild and very aromatic chilli. You can use it anywhere you would use black pepper which is stocked in your supermarket, but it really enhances your food. You can cook with it or just take a pinch and sprinkle it on. And don't think it is just for meat and fish, it tastes wonderful on strawberries, seriously. This particular buy comes in a little plastic bag, enough to fill, say, a small jam jar. It is cheap as chips and well worth trying.

Must have ingredient for your spice box
My Turkish cookery book seemed to require them in nearly every recipe to sprinkle on all manner of meals ranging from bread, through salads and as an ingredient in kofta. They did the job perfectly - not overly hot but with good depth of flavour with some fruitiness and an undernote akin to cumin. (If you are looking for a hot chilli, you would be better off with flakes made from birds eye chillies, probably originating in India). They arrived promptly in sensible packaging - will buy again.
A**!
Wonderfully pungent and powerful.
What a wonderful spice! Works wonders in mediterranean dishes to add a smoky hot flavour without too much spice. Some I especially love making with this are Turkish Eggs and Shakshuka.

Don't miss these ...!
Absolutely love these - was recommended them by someone else and so pleased I tried them. They have a gentle heat but add real FLAVOUR to a dish without blowing your head off. To increase the heat just add more chilli flakes. 100 grams may seem rather a lot of chilli but I find I use it by the tablespoon instead of by the teaspoon.Just bought some more :) :)

Superb
I am not a fan of "chilli in everything" nor of mouth-searing strength so these chilli flakes are perfect for me.Just enough heat and a beautiful, rounded depth of flavour enhancing the taste of the food rather than over-powering it. Superb.
