An absolutely awesome device gets better, being able to plug an Ethernet cable directly into the firestick is a fantastic option. It can eliminate signal drop when using Wi-Fi, especially when further away from the router.It’s very simple to use, just plug this into the firestick (where the power cable would go) and then connect the power cable and Ethernet cable to this.Works perfectly out of the box.

Setting it up was incredibly easy — just plug it into the Fire TV device, connect the Ethernet cable, and you’re good to go. No extra configuration was needed, and it worked straight away.The improvement in streaming quality has been fantastic. No more buffering during movies or TV shows, and everything loads noticeably faster compared to using Wi-Fi. I also feel like the overall performance of the Fire TV Stick is smoother with a wired connection.The build quality is great, compact and sturdy without being bulky or getting in the way. It feels like a premium accessory, exactly what you’d expect from Amazon-branded products.If you’re having any Wi-Fi issues or just want the most reliable streaming experience possible, this adapter is absolutely worth it. Would give it 5 stars if the firestick wasn't limited in speed. Was expecting to get same speeds or close to my ISP speeds. My own fault for not reading up however does stay steady 80-90mbps which is fine. Quality of the ethernet adapter seems good easy setup and no issues so far.

Nice and easy.Uses the Firestick power supply so just needs a Cat5 (ethernet) cable from the wireless router and I have plenty.Works immediately.Not faster than WiFi but probably more stable.Cheap enough to have a go.

I have bad WiFi signal around the house (thick walls, lots of steel joists) so this ethernet adaptor for my Firestick was a godsend. I use it combined with a Western Digital Livewire Powerline home intranet system. It was very easy to install and the reaction speed, loading time and picture quality on my Firestick was transformed. This seemed like the best £16 I'd spent in a long time.That was in early August. A month later the Firestick said it could not find any signal and the Network setting showed it was not connected to the internet. I swapped back to using WiFi and it worked (slowly). I changed the CAT-5E cable, I checked to see if other units running of the WD Livewire system were working (they were) ... so I had to conclude that the ethernet adaptor had broken after only a month. I ordered a second ethernet adaptor and it has just arrived. I plugged it in, switched off the WiFi signal, and the wired network started working straight away. So it was a duff adaptor. This is a great bit of kit, and really good value for someone in my position, but it needs to be able to last longer than a month. I just have every finger crossed that my first adaptor was a one-off bad unit, and this second one will last a year or two, at least.
