ABUS 6KS110 Security Chain

as a cyclist in london, I wouldnt bother with a chain like this, it can get snipped really easily with little effort (remember that a thief can stand in the street these days with an angle grinder or huge pair of bolt cutters and no one will bother them)i'm using this as an extra chain for some random stuff in a shed which is already double locked. its not to stop it getting robbed, its actually to make an empty but heavy box look worth nicking!heheheh!

Very light and small links. The padlock that would fit these links would be too easy to break, I was expecting something more substantial and I don't think I would trust my motorbike to this product. I am not going to send it back as I will find a use for it.

This chain seems nice and strong. No, I don't have a motorbike - nice idea but my Dad would never let me! I use this for one of the field gates to help keep the horses safe. Fingers crossed.N.B. Because it goes round the "hinged" end and I don't have to remove it, it has been BOLTED on and therefore doesn't need a padlock.

This appears to be very good quality, heavy duty chain on first impression. I haven't given 5 stars as I haven't used it yet

Only small loops the on the chain so my pad lock don't fit but would be OK to hold a 125

good sturdy looking, so far so good. only time will tell if its effective

Reasonable compromise between strength and portability. 1100mm is probably the minimum length one needs for cycle-locking.The square section links appear to be very strong indeed, much better than the average padlock. Beware - the internal link-size is restricted, around 9mm. If you already have a big, heavy lock then it's not going to fit! Either you'll need a smaller padlock or a different big heavy chain.
