On a whimb I wanted to try a different pepper after decades of buying the generic brands at Wally World. Oh my, sometimes I take this out of the cupboard just to smell it! The aroma and flavor blew me away! I did a little research before I purchased, and I've been blown away by the difference a quality pepper makes with my meals.

These organic peppercorns are sourced from a wealthy coastal area of Malabar Hills, India. Boasting some of the best Tellincherry peppercorns in the world.As in the past these peppercorns taste fresh and flavorful, but this batch is harder to grind on a 'fine' setting in my mill. I LOVE fresh ground pepper but too coarse can overwhelm a dish.I keep a pinch bowl of fresh ground pepper on the counter. A Black and Decker coffee/spice grinder produces a fine grind in seconds. Much faster than by hand.Happy Cooking!

I will buy these organic black peppercorns again and again. Frontier is a reputable organic purveyor and you can trust their products. Purchasing organic spices in bulk is so cost saving. Find someone to split with you if it’s not practical to purchase the larger amount.

These peppercorns have a nice aroma and are consistent in size. They do not, unfortunately, have a strong pepper flavor. The flavor is floral and slightly spicy, but just not very strong. I've had other tellicherry black peppercorns which tasted much stronger with pungent peppercorn aroma and floral notes. I think these may just be past their prime.I have not seen any sticks or debris in my bag of peppercorns. They came nice a clean. That was a concern of mine after reading the reviews of other bulk peppercorns on Amazon.I'll probably try these again!
