If you don't want/can chip your pet.
If your pet is not chipped , this is a great option. It holds all the information in the barcode, it is lightweight and it looks cute...good gift.

Great product!
We bought these for our 2 dogs and our cat. They were very quick and easy to set up. I love that you can add pictures of the animal. My daughter just tested it out and I love that when the tag is scanned they can send an email or call directly from there. I also love that it is plastic so it doesn’t make a lot of noise against other tags. I definitely recommend.

Cheap plastic. Broke in less than a day.
This is a really cute tag and is much smaller than the ones I've ordered in the past however, unlike the ones in the past, this one is made of plastic. It didn't even last 24 hours on my dog. If you have a dog that's hard on tags, this is not the tag for you. Thankfully I found one of my old, metal tags add I was able to use it in place of this one. (I have 3 dogs and they all puked their old, metal tags off playing or whatever dogs do in the woods. I found 2 of them, I think but I could only locate one so I used that instead since I ordered 3 of these cheap plastic ones.) We are only using these for when we board our dogs. We live in the country and our dogs have plenty of room here so no real need for the tags while they are home with us.

These are super easy to set up and love all the details you can put on them even photos. Only down side is they're plastic & so my dog broke his first one easily. It these were metal they would be perfect.

Innovative Concept, Yet Durability and Safety Concerns
The "WhoseID Dog Cat Tag Personalized for Pets Name ID Accessories Custom Silent QR Code Tags Ring Supplies Black Purple 2 Pack" initially seemed like a forward-thinking solution for pet identification. The use of a QR code on a tag promised a silent, modern method to ensure pets' safety, integrating technology seamlessly into our daily lives. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm was quickly dampened by the product's subpar durability. From my experience, the tags failed to withstand even moderate use, with one breaking within a mere day and the other a week later. The material used in these tags is evidently low quality, lacking the robustness needed for pets that play and move around frequently. This issue is not just about the inconvenience of a broken tag but raises significant safety concerns; the broken pieces posed a real choking hazard to my dogs. Had I not been home to catch them chewing on the fragments, the outcome could have been much worse. The saving grace was that the internal QR code component remained undamaged. Luckily, I had the necessary tools at hand— a silicone mold and UV resin—to recast and cure the tags myself, enhancing their durability far beyond their original state. After a thorough cleaning with alcohol and soap and water, the tags were not only functional but also far more resilient. However, this workaround underscores a critical caveat for potential buyers: unless you have the means and the skills to perform such repairs, I cannot recommend purchasing this product. While the idea behind the "WhoseID Dog Cat Tag" is commendable, the execution falls short due to material quality, affecting both the product's durability and the safety of your pets. In its current form, the tag seems more suited for those ready to invest additional effort into making it viable rather than serving as the straightforward solution it aims to be. Until improvements are made to the material quality, it might be wise to explore other pet identification options that offer both innovation and reliability straight out of the box.

Great concept!
Just like having a chip, but better because anyone with a smartphone can scan it for immediate information.I love that you can write as much info as you want to, such as many addresses and phone #'s incase you travel etc. One improvement could be to add a metal ring in the circle that attaches to the collar for better durability.Great product. Great price!

Great product but doesn’t last
I bought this tag for my dog back in October. He’s not out in the rain or has worn the tag when given a bath. However the top loop is made of a brittle plastic material and it cracked and broke off I have no way to even fix it so it can be on a ring again.
