Ideal unit for providing a second HDMI feed
I used this splitter to provide a second feed to a second bedroom computer monitorIt has worked perfectly since purchase. In my set up I send the Sky Q HDMI signal to an HDMI distribution amplifier downstairs, from there I feed it to a CAT 7 converter, feed this upstairs, convert back to HDMI, and thenuse the splitter. This saves paying Sky an extra fee for a second Sky box upstairs. With my set up you can`twatch different channels upstairs and in the lounge though.THE HDMI distribution amplifier is also a U green product.

Price and quality .great
Brilliant little splitter. Only thing I would of like was if it auto selected what signal was going through it.

Good product
I use it to split HDMI to stream with a capture device. So good that I can't even remember it's there!

Hdcp issues
The unit is small and seems well made. I have had a couple of issues with it.Firstly this will not strip hdcp, spent a while trying to get it to work but I couldn't.When it was connected to my computer I wanted to see if I could capture anything on my other pc. Just got a green screen. Sound was captured but not video. I have since been able to get it to work as I should using a different computer so again not sure if it's a hdcp issue.

Does NOT bypass HDCP
I've been looking into these devices for so long now, they all seem to claim the same "bypass HDCP" but unfortunately this is the 3rd I've had and as soon as I connect to OBS the dreaded "PROTECTED BY HDCP" in red on a black screen. I've tried several sequences with the cables etc but as soon as the signal hits... No luck... The search continues.
