Hans J. Wegner: Just One Good Chair Hardcover – September 30, 2014

This book is arranged historically and includes many wonderful documents. I enjoyed the copies of Wegner's own drawings and also the photos of prototype chairs that were never put in production.I thought that the book was very easy to read and follow. I enjoyed learning about the personalities behind Danish Modern design. Wegner was at the center of that post-war phenomenon. Clearly, echoes of that era still reverberate today.It is a big book, but I would have liked to see two things added. First, a little bit more space for the works of his contemporaries for context, and, Second, a photo index of his own furniture in chronological order.I highly recommend Wegner to anyone interested in furniture.

I thought it would have more photos but it has nice chunk of text that I could read about.well designed book. I am a graphic designer, so I can't help with judging layout of books and printing.But this book is such a lovely book. Nice reference photos & enough text ! On the top of it, it is well designed layout!LOVE IT!

I'm keeping this book .I have not had a chance to even flip through it. I'll refresh my review once I have.

Fantastic book. Well written and informative, with lots of photographs I hadn't seen before. Be careful though - it will make you want to buy some more chairs!

Great read if you are interested in design. The included sketches by Wegner give interesting insight to his creative process.

It’s a beautiful book. The pictures are superb. Very well written.

This is an excellent specialized reference book that most people won't need (go to a library) to own unless they are what I am, an accredited appraiser of personal property. All thumbs up.
