Yes, the item matches the picture, however, I found them a little bit flimsy. When pounding them into the ground they can bend if the dirt is too tough.

Yes the picture does match the product. I use them to anchor my hose reels into the ground and to secure netting around my pool area and have been very happy with the product.

Q: Are these pegs stainless steel? How well do they hold up in a fire?

Not stainless. Don't know about fire use. I use them to anchor the bottom of my chain link fence, and they're still going strong after 5+ years in the ground. Rusted, but still solid.
