Can I use this On a tablet

You can, but from my experience it was kinda buggy. By that I mean that for some reason it only worked for one half of the screen.

Does this device work with Zoom meetings software?

It would really depend what exactly you want to use it to do on zoom. If you want to use it as a mouse pointer it will work just fine.

Does anyone know if this works with Affinity Photo and Design?

I tried with Affinity Design and it worked very well, so I assume it works with Photo as well.

Can you annotate word and PDF docs?

Yes, you can. Need a special software which handle the pdf file. I use it with windows and Inkodo, Penbook, OneNote, Evernote. Inkodo super easy to use: you can import the pdf and you can write, draw or add textbox, shapes. Penbook is similar. For word document you can use OneNote: import the doc to the page and you can annotate with handwriting and drawing. The wheel allow you to easily zoom in and out.
