Will the speckled blue plates with the lip fit in a dishwasher or is the lip too big?

Capacity in ounces on the bowls?

How deep/tall are cereal bowls? 5.25" is narrower than average 6" bowls, but does the depth make up for that to hold the same amout of soup/cereal?
